Finishing Lottie’s garden safari tasks. She said she got into wedding planning because real estate was slow these days, which is honestly kind of depressing. Poor kid needed to get a second job in this economy? Dang. I appreciate Nintendo not wanting to keep making more and more new NPCs for these games, but come on. Let me imagine that Lottie can work 40 hours a week and make a livable wage.

One of my super old drawings from when I was first attempting digital art! Lottie from the cute goth event in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp.

And, a day later, I finished the extra tasks. I don’t know if I’m imagining it, but this safari seemed far easier than previous ones. Maybe it was spawn rates, catch rates, or just more people giving me more butterflies at all hours, but it definitely went by quickly.

In any case, Lottie is learning to love garden-themed weddings, and I gotta say, I kind of am, too. I can’t say I’ve been to a LOT of weddings in my life, but I’ve been to a few, and I’ve found the outdoor ones more enjoyable for sure.

I mean, so long as there’s, like, an awning, or a gazebo, or something, for me to sit under so that I’m in the shade. I like sitting in the shade much more than being in direct sunlight. I’d still rather just wear a ton of sunscreen and sit in the sun than sit in another huge church, though.

I’m really not a big fan of the “pop quizzes” that the Happy Home Classroom keeps having, largely because they require so many fortune cookie items and I don’t like the idea of spending Leaf Tickets (always capitalized; never forget that) on fortune cookies.

Still, for the chance to see Lottie and Isabelle both clapping for me and having a good time together, I guess it’s worth it sometimes.

Last of my Happy Home Whatever pictures for now. I just wanted to point that, no matter how happy for me Lottie appears to be at the top, she only gave me 48 points.She knows that the maximum prize requires me to get 205. That’s an average score of 51.25 from each judge. She didn’t give me that many points. She didn’t think I deserved the top prize.

I will never forgive her for this.

After the third textbox, I had two options I could use to reply: “Sounds like homework to me...” and “Sign me up, Lottie!” I picked the first one just to see if I was correct that both would do the same thing. They do! Even though they are very obviously opposing answers! I told Lottie I didn’t wanna do this, and she just called it “Super!” and welcomed me to the school.

To hell with your school, Lottie! Just gimme free loot for no reason!

I love how Goldie herself is standing RIGHT THERE. This dialogue would make perfect sense if Lottie were holding a clipboard and saying that this was stuff she’d heard from Goldie ahead of time, but she’s standing there! Staring at me! Looking me in the eye while Lottie talks about little birdies and sending her over the moon. Come on, Lottie... let the lady talk for herself.
