Trayvon Martin Trial
Now that all you lawyers have simmered down. It was never questioned whether Mr. George Zimmerman killed Trayvon or not. The purpose of this trial was to prove whether he did it on self defense or as an act of malice. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough evidence to convince the jury BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT that Mr. Zimmerman had the intent to kill Trayvon for any other reason than self defense. Does that make him an innocent man? No. Is rioting going to change the verdict? Absolutely not. Was a verdict determined based on Trayvon's skin color? It's a possibility, but very unlikely. I think we should all take a step back and realize what the end of this trial truly means. It gives the Martin family closure, the closure that they so desperately need. I think people should think about them before acting up and think on how all these actions affect them. Mr. Zimmerman will have his day, maybe not today but someday. Have a lovely Sunday dolls! xoxo.
i know how our justice system works, and i'm still fucking pissed.
