Honestly, he would’ve WALKED AWAY real fast, hadn’t anyone pointed it out and stated very loudly that people under the mistletoe must… must… ugh. 

Yep, we’re holding back that sigh, ladies, gents and esteemed guests. 

Jay tilts his head up, because of course he has to, of course she’s taller than he is, and goes in for—nope, she moved, made the angle awkward. He readjusts, a bit to the right this time, and… nope, again. It’s like they can’t figure out the angle, it takes a few adjustments every time, muttered apologies, and in the end, he just presses his hand to her cheek ever so slightly so they don’t end up with an awkward mouth to chin or nose situation. Gets a bit up on his toes, just a little, and presses a small peck at the corner of her mouth. 

There. Done. And he’s g o n e.

And the other woman was gone just like that. No two-way conversation or explanation of what was going on- she just vanished out the door like a quick breeze. Silence soon followed and Neo was left to awkwardly stare at what was in front of her.

“It’s… a robot? Like an actual robot?”

The robot raised their hand in greetings as it was pushed forward and left at this strangers door step.

“... Hello. .. Yes I am an actual robot.”

Their raised hand lowered to around handshaking level for her.

“Reiyn said.. You would watch me for today.

She seemed quiet, caressing Neo’s face like that, her palm being full of the taller woman’s cheek. Inside she cursed. Why was she so clueless when Ayako was touching her like that? Was she ignoring it? “Neo...”

She took a step closer, in a very sudden manner, like she wanted to put her foot down on the situation. She wanted to get closer. “...” she kept staring as she leaned closer. She had already decided on what she was going to do. She needed Neo.
