Yuuri was happy he could actually make this event unlike the few before, putting on his best along with a black mask. He didn’t want to appear too mysterious because he didn’t think he was a mysterious person, but he did come off that way. He even wore his hair up like he usually did when he skated. He wandered the hall, wondering if he was going to ask someone to dance when he spotted someone beautiful. Or, at least, they were beautiful even when they were wearing a mask. There was something familiar about them the closer he got, but he didn’t pay that any mind. “You look amazing,” he said once he was finally in front of the other. “Do you think I could get you a drink or a dance because I would be happy with either.”

naomi was livid. she had known the knew editor was a fool, she had told everyone and nothing had been done. now, she was the one being punished. she walked in, throwing the magazine on the counter. she wanted to shred it. she didn’t want to look at the end result of her article that she’d slaved over, only to get most of it changed and cut. “pierce!” she all but yelled, hoping he was home. he wouldn’t appreciate getting a call from her right about now given the mood she was in. luckily for the two of them after stalking around for a moment she spotted him. “thank fuck. put on something that’ll make you unrecognizable. we have something important to do.” mainly a car to key, trash her place if naomi could get in, and then a lot of drinks to consume, but she only needed him along for the first part. if he wanted to join her to the bar, which he probably would if it weren’t for the fact that there was a chance alcohol would only make me angrier, that was up to him. of course, she could do all of this alone, it wouldn’t be the first time, but it just wasn’t the same if there wasn’t someone around to watch her seethe while it happened.
