When he had offered his services of assistance to help with the Sixth Blight, it seemed as though the Maker were trying to send him a message, especially considering the fact that the leader of this 'veilguard' was an Antivan Crow. He had taken on strange jobs before, especially when it came to flirting with death, but this...this one took the brandy. Either way, he was prepared for a fight of any kind, already anticipating what he might be stepping into when he went to meet them in a tavern in Minrathous. A nice and public area to make an escape, but also keep an eye out for targets just in case.

The nervous laughter bubbles out his throat until he runs out of breath, and it finally fades.

"No, no. If you want scolding, you'll have to go to Wynne," he says. "But um. I just wondered if... if it's really such a good idea for you to be learning from Zevran. I mean, he did try to kill us. How can you trust him with a blade so close?"

Since offering his help as another apostate mage to aid the Inquisition, the Slow Arrow had been finding his footing, learning how to adjust to the others around him. It didn't take long. After all, he had been wandering around for some time now, experiencing how the world shaped around him along with the people. Even with all the careful and pointed stares his old friend would keep shooting his way, trying to make sure he didn't step out of line again or give away his identity and position, Felassan had been nothing more than the laidback apostate mage he truly was, obviously different from Solas.

Deciding to check in on Inquisitor Lavellan and see how she was doing, knowing what toll it could take to help lead soldiers and keep up a fight, he had managed to find her in Skyhold.

At her words, a grin came to his face, leaning against his staff. "That's the spirit, Inquisitor! This is why you're our fearless leader, besides the obvious fact of that mark on your hand." Of which he knew what it truly was. "You make the Dalish proud."
