In the process of development and application of processing aids, the product components are roughly divided into the following categories: methyl methacrylate (MMA)/acrylate copolymer, MMA/styrene copolymer, acrylonitrile/styrene, etc. The most used and effective is MMA/acrylate copolymer.
The impact modifier ACR and the processing aid ACR are both acrylate polymers, but their properties are quite different due to their different formulation ratios and structures. In impact ACR, methyl methacrylate accounts for about 10-20%, while acrylic Esters account for about 80-90%. The impact modifier ACR has a core-shell structure like MBS. Compared with impact modifiers such as MBS and CPE, its processing performance and weather resistance are good, and the surface finish is high. It is especially suitable for outdoor products. In foreign countries, acrylic impact modifiers are environmentally friendly, have excellent performance and weather resistance. High performance has replaced CPE impact modifier.
Domestic research on counteracting ACR was earlier, but the real industrial production was still in the late 1990s. However, due to the large domestic CPE production capacity and low price, downstream customers have low product quality requirements. As a result, the price is 1/3 higher than that of CPE and the added amount of impact ACR is difficult to be promoted in the market.
K278P is a PVC foaming regulator with medium melt strength, which can significantly promote the low-temperature melting of PVC, effectively reduce the plasticizing temperature and shorten the plasticizing time. In addition, it can also enhance the cohesion and uniformity of the PVC melt, while broadening the processing temperature range, it gives the PVC polymer higher melt strength, elongation and elasticity, and reduces the pulsation and instability of the melt. Promote surface brightness and smoothness. This product has good dispersibility and good PVC processing fluidity. It is suitable for the production and processing of various PVC foamed building materials and profiles, effectively improving production efficiency. By increasing the melt strength, the cell structure of PVC foamed products can be made uniform. The use of foaming agent together can reduce the density of the products. Suitable for processes with slower plasticization speed.
