ACT 2018: Weeks 37 & 38
Look at my well-balanced life! Y’all, I’m so excited about how my life is going.
And look at some shoes that I did not buy because they did not fit properly 😭😭😭
But also an outfit that I did buy, ridiculous tacky shoes and all 😍😍😍
Previous goals:
1. Discipline, hard work, responsibility (work/education) >> Finish your co-report. For real. It’s due Friday.
IT WAS HOT GARBAGE, BUT I FINISHED IT AND HANDED IT IN AND SOMEHOW ON A PASS/FAIL GRADING SCALE, IT PASSED. I’M DEEPLY ASHAMED OF THE QUALITY OF WORK I HANDED IN, BUT I’LL USE THIS AS A LEARNING EXPERIENCE SO I DON’T DO IT AGAIN.
2. Discipline, hark work, responsibility (work/education) >> Do readings, review notes from class, do homework assignments, prepare for labs.
I’m behind on the readings, but I think I have some time this week to catch up on that. I’m going to divide up the studying that I can do at home vs. the studying that I have to do at the library because I don’t own the necessary textbooks, and schedule each in.
3. Giving/service (relationships), balance (leisure) >> Go to volunteer orientation for local humane society.
✔️ Now I just need to mail in my criminal record check, and I’ll be set to volunteer :D
Values bulls eye:
Work/education: Finished my co-op report and did pretty well keeping up with my daily school tasks. A step up for discipline, hard work, and responsibility, and my organization is still Peak.
Leisure: Balance took a step up this time around, as I’m starting to limit my tumblr usage again, and I’m getting involved in my community as a volunteer.
Personal growth/health: This is the area that needs the most TLC right now! No changes this week, but I’m going to do some goal setting here, for the next couple weeks.
Relationships: Time went down a tier due to the usual demands of university, but giving/service took a tier. Still very happy with how this section is looking.
New goals:
1. Organization (work/education), follow through (leisure) >> start planning your winter break vacation! First vacation that I’m ever planning for myself, and it’s gonna be so much fun, guys, so much fun 🏒🐧🏒🐧🏒🐧
2. Hard work, discipline, responsibility (work/education) >> Keep up with school work and catch up on reading.
3. Challenge, determination, hard work (personal growth/health) >> Contact a personal trainer at your uni’s gym and meet with them, because you know that the only way you’re ever going to actually go to the gym is if there’s someone there to hold your hand and also you’ve financially obligated yourself to go.
