—- “ ASSESSMENT: MY CONDITION IS NONE OF YOUR CONCERN, SONIC THE HEDGEHOG. I WILL TURN THEIR INNARDS INTO OUTARDS. ”Apparently, being just a head and a couple of wires means far less to some people than it does to others. Like Omega, who doesn’t seem to care that his entire body, more or less, has been demolished, and the only reason he’s even still online right now is because of Sonic’s quick thinking.
“ MY RAGE IS OPERATING AT 200% CAPACITY. THROW ME AT THEM LIKE A PRIMITIVE STONE. ”
“ Hell no man! Shads would never forgive me if I jus’ left ya here. “ He held the robot - or whatever was left of him in his arms, as his gaze wandered through the masses, hundreds of Zombots closing in on them. He didn’t think this through well enough, did he?
He’s tired, he isn’t used to being this tired, he isn’t used to his legs feeling so heavy, he could feel adrenaline pumping in his veins, but for some reason, it wasn’t enough to just send him running. Was everyone safe? Was everyone else already out? He hoped so - because he doesn’t think he has the physical capability to go back and check - also considering the extra weight - that was less of a problem in weight - and more of a problem in no sense of self-preservation. Well, not like he’s a shining example of that either.
There’s a heavy breath, before he takes a step back, only to realize he’s been backed against a building. No issue on its own - he probably still had the strength to run straight up it - but he wondered for how long. He wondered for how long he could keep doing this - how long he could keep running, ‘till his body would submit to the virus, submit to the tiredness, to the mental strain this was taking on him.
“ Dear Chaos - I’m going to get you home and if it kills me. “
I’m not losing anyone else.
