[Blaine’s reading the crossword puzzle for the third time although he has finished it. It’s Tuesday at the office and the day has never been so dull since his release from the hospital. As suspected, Commissioner DeLario chews him out on Monday--citing major and minor reasons as to why Blaine should be suspended from the force, but also deciding that Blaine is to stay at the precinct until he can do his work without supervision. Blaine’s not too mad, at least he’s not at home with nothing to do. Work gives him some purpose, but...
“Sad that your boyfriend’s not here yet?” Pritchard sneers as he passes by, and Keller knocks off some papers off Blaine’s desk. Blaine glares at them but they laugh as they walk off. Dicks.
But there’s a little sense of truth to their words. Blaine’s been a bit down that the agent hasn’t recovered. It was awful seeing what happened to him, and Blaine’s just being a good police officer. He wants to know if Agent Gilbert’ll be alright. Blaine had tried asking DeLario but no luck. The Commissioner is a man of sewn lips when it comes to the FBI agent.
The door rings and Blaine’s head picks up to see who could be coming in and--oh, just... a patrol officer. Blaine sighs and checks his answer for the crossword again.]
