The Lift Up Kyleigh absolutely hates tummy time. As soon as her body planks the floor she almost immediately gets to hollering. Some days are better than others. Like today. I planted her elbows onto her boppy and let her head hang for a second. Now normally when I try to place her arms anywhere, she automatically moves them some other way. Today I was (kind of) expecting the same time. My Nikon was close just in case she decided to do something besides cry. Wha-la! This is what she did today! Propping herself up on her elbows on her own and she lifted her head completely up! She even did a slight head turn to the right! I was so shocked, she even seemed to surprise herself. It was such a cool moment then it was right back to the water works. I love moments like this. I am so happy to be teaching my daughter such milestones. Spending so much time with a little human is nothing short of miraculous and I am so blessed that this one just happens to be mine. Watching her blossom into something new each day is truly rewarding.
