The wife spent part of her childhood in I believe Myanmar as her mom and dad moved the family to the locations her mom’s work empowering women (even back in those days!) took them. My client has such an appreciation for that culture and an incredible time of her life, so I wanted to make sure that was reflected somewhere in the design. The ottoman between the two chairs does just that.
