Like have these people kissed during sex before like it’s not gonna be all closed mouth sometimes there’s gonna open mouth kisses and panting and shit like that’s normal and even hot. Plus that clip passed by so damn fast. These comments talking about he is too gay to be convincing is borderline offensive. What are they trying to say about his acting? Trying to be funny about “ hahaha he is too gay to even act like he is enjoying a kiss with a woman” when all you are doing is insulting him. I told someone they were being rude and they were like he probably wouldn’t mind cause he wants to be seen for the real him. Girl he is acting what has that got to do with his real life situations. Why are y’all so damn weird about this movie?
Yes, I saw SO MANY people on Twitter saying the "he's too gay to be convincing" stuff and I was like um.....you’re just straight up trashing Harry's acting ability at this point. And based off a one second clip!
I understand that people are frustrated by Holivia, but so much of the stuff I've been seeing has bizarre - that he was so much more comfortable on the set of My Policeman (we barely saw him filming DWD whereas we saw almost every second of MP filming so what exactly are you comparing here), that he's only in the movie so he can be sexualized (that's insulting to him to suggest, it was a one second clip, and almost EVERY movie trailer includes some kind of sexy scene clip like this, if not multiple - sex sells, absolutely, but this is not unique to DWD or to Harry), and that he's not convincing or comfortable acting in a straight role (he wouldn't have taken the role if he wasn't comfortable).
With three roles that we know Harry has taken on at this point, he wants to play different types of characters and try new things. Some people are acting like the My Policeman character is somehow showing the "real" Harry whereas this character is the complete opposite of him and he's so uncomfortable and unconvincing in the role. Like??? NONE OF THEM ARE HIM!!! That's the point and that's the challenge - they are ACTING roles. He is becoming someone else in these films and if people can't handle that and need to project all of this bullshit on him or on the film because they're mad about a stunt, I feel like they need to take a step back and get some perspective because it's getting really embarrassing.
