honestly the best way to get that headphone piece out would be a daub of hot glue (if it's close enough to the outside) or something thin enough to slide in past it and use friction to pull it out, though that risks some damage to the jack as well
Provided the hot glue doesn’t get dtuck in the port as well, yeah.
