HEY MY COLORBLIND PALS DID YOU KNOW YOU CAN DO THIS?????
Hey so MCYT fans and fans of the band with the same name, can y'all PLEASE stop using this as a tag or in tags. It makes it much harder [actually pretty much impossible] for colorblind people to find others like us.
Aesthetic bloggers also please stop using us for your aesthetic as well. Not everyone has monochromia and it is also really disrespectful. And everyone with full color vision please stop joking about it, unless it's to someone who's comfortable with it. We're still disabled and more specifically visually impaired, stop acting like you can't be ableist towards us.
Would appreciate reblogs of this, because y'all are getting on our nerves. We don't have an "actually_" tag yet, but we're making one now.
What type of colorblind are you? (Google keeps giving me different theories about Van Gogh)
According to the website with the anti-blind glasses i have deuteranomaly i think (?) But the tumblr post about van gogh's colorblindness said he was something different so idk. Its really hard to gauge colorblindness on screens cuz colors always look different (and to be fair, i constantly have the anti-blue light filters on). All I know is that famous colorblindness thread on tumblr about van gogh was the first time i actually didnt see a difference between the supposedly non-colorblind and colorblind pictures (indicating that van gogh and i saw alike).
To be fair, at the eye doctor they just say you got a 0 on the ishihara test, they don't tell you the names.
Actually i think all web design (especially) teams should have a diagnosed redgreen colorblind person to test all designs
This is cool but i think it would be cooler if the app considered that colorblind people might like reading books and looking at graphs about it too
me: *colorblind and not wearing my colorblind glasses*
my friend: I LOVE THIS COLOR *sends a video of a paint makers tiktok*
me: for fucks sake I CANT SEE THE COLOR
