Steve squeezed through the thick bamboo, wedging himself through it to get to the clearing. “Doctor,” he called, grinning as he knelt by a gorilla’s nest. “Doctor Erskine, come look.” As he looked up, Steve’s eyes widened. He was alone…the group must have gotten ahead while he had gone forward, intent on reaching the clearing. He was right in suspecting there might be nests, but completely on his own, the little discovery was useless. A slight stirring of dry leaves made his head snap up, alert.

Soulmates

Bucky followed her, watching her sit down with what was, presumably, his coffee. She had a button nose and brown eyes and brown hair, and he felt as though he could start bounding over to her and just kiss her because she had been the only constant thing in his life. He rubbed the back of his neck as she sniffed at the coffee (his coffee), and cleared his throat. 

He flashed her a quick smile. “Sorry, doll,” he said, trying to catch a glimpse of her other wrist. “But, that might be mine.”

Just about as she was going to take a sip of the delicious concoction that was in the Starbucks cup, she heard something from behind her. Turning her head slightly, she noticed a man that was quite handsome. She gave him a small smile, unsure as to why he was there in the first place until he began to speak to her. 

Furrowing her brows to him when he said that she had his drink, she simply shook her head. "I'm sorry, but you must be mistake. Unless we both ordered the same thing and both of our names are Darcy. Though it's highly unlikely. Unless your mother was also a Jane Austen fan." She joked lightly.
