How Google Drive is saving my fictional A$$
So I have been suffering though the attacks of evil Ad ware for about 2 months, and finally about 2 weeks ago it was so bad I could no longer do a thing on my brand new fancy machine that hubby built me. Had to completely wipe and restart. And as I safely open my story files I realize that large chunks are missing, but I am able to recover my finished chapters from Google drive (about 50K words worth of work). So far I have been unable to get to my w.i.p. chapters of TSW and Home is... as well as months of family pictures, but there is still hope. I am going to use the hell out of cloud, google drive and Microsoft 365 accounts from now on. just a psa for all my writer friends.
