You've been visited by the random OC question fairy! :D ~☆
Write a paragraph of your character venting. What do they talk about? What's heavy on their mind? What do they complain about?
Everett Osborn (Canon, pre-story): Just my luck that I’m being sent out of town to find signs of the killer that’s been strangling women across the county. Chief could’ve sent Mateo or any one of the other men, so why did he pick me? I guess it’s fine though. The city stinks, the roads stink... any reason to get away for a little while is good. But this is a long term assignment; I can’t come back until I’m done. I just thought I’d be in the city a little longer. I’ll miss going to the saloon with the guys, and I’ll miss Madam Bethel’s parlor house... Ain’t goin’ to find someone to warm my bed in a little place like Forest Falls. Goddammit. The sooner I find the bastard and bring him to justice, the sooner I can come back.
Ada Campbell (Canon, pre-story): Why won’t the sheriff treat me with some respect? He talks at me, like I’m some kind of doll to be handled with care and ordered around however he likes. He thinks he’ll marry me, but I think not. That will not be happening. Not even if he started treating me like a human being. He can’t turn this cart around, it’s already left town. I haven’t needed a man before and I won’t need one in the future. I don’t need to be married to justify my existence. My goals and my future are up to me. I’ll do what I’ve always done: Live my life the way I want to, and damn anyone who gets in my way.

The sheriff that Ada is referring to is not Everett, it’s another character in the town of Forest Falls that she lives in.
My book, yet to be titled, is very far along. The book itself is complete, I just need to do some editing and then format the manuscript for Kindle. It’s a little over 68,000 words, and I’m so excited to share the story with y’all! I’m also waiting for my artist to complete the cover art.
I’d like to publish in July, and when the time comes, I’ll definitely be promoting it here. Thank you for your support, I really appreciate it!
