It was a little odd for Gabe to not be drinking at the party, but it was a price he was willing to pay to ensure he could kiss Adabella at midnight. So to replace that he’d been snacking a lot. “Should we pass by the food stands again? Or maybe do you want to dance? Careful with that second offer, you know I don’t usually offer dances since I’m awful at them.”

“You run your own hair salon, don’t you?” Pepper wondered as she thought she recognized the other. “I was wondering– what would you, in your professional opinion, do to my hair if you could do anything?” she asked. “I’m not set on changing my look up quite yet, but I was curious.”

Gabriel had been with Brett when the Gossip Witches had revealed Adabella’s secret. At first he barely knew what to do until suddenly he was doing everything in his power to get to his girlfriend. He couldn’t find her at first, but the moment he did he rushed to her side and hoped to be able to offer some comfort and support. “Bells?” he looked to her with concern. “What can I do? “I’ve had several people come up and ask me if you and I are outfit repeating this year,” Gabe admitted. “I keep telling them that no, but I’m just as surprised as them. This is such an ‘us’ costume it’s a shocker we haven’t done it yet.”

“Oh–” Gabe let out the noise as Adabella added something else to the pile in his arms. “When I offered to help I didn’t realize I’d be doing all the heavy lifting in the literal sense,” he teased, but still straining a little as he kept everything up. “What’s all of this for?”

“I know I’m not always the best at the whole romance thing, but I really do love you Bells,” he smiled softly as he cupped the blonde’s cheek, tracing gentle circles along her skin. “Happy Valentine’s Day,” Gabe said before pulling out a small box for her.
