1: Origins! How did you come up with the concept for your OC?
Adahlaras actually came to be when I still played on my Xbox One! He was meant to…. Just be an ass… Basically. I had played through multiple times already, but I could never bring myself to pick the “red” options. And so I created him for that specific reason…. But ended up becoming quite attached to him oops.

He was a lot younger originally, only about 18. He was also going to be a mage in my original game, but I remade him as a warrior after a few hours of play (so current Addie is I guess technically Adahlaras 3.0)!

Adahlaras has always liked spearmint to help him relax. Between chewing on the leaves and using scented oils in baths, it is one of his favorite scents, and it’s wide range of uses means he almost always has some on hand.

Jerk with a Heart of Gold -- To people he doesn’t consider friends or allies he isn’t going to go out of his way to be kind, but his friendship and kindness can both be earned.
Good is Not Nice -- He will do what he believes is right, but doesn’t mind punching some people in the face to get the job done.
Not Good with People -- He doesn’t try extremely hard to be a grumpy person, but he keeps himself closed off and aloof to people he doesn’t know. He also doesn’t seem to have any innate social grace.
Terror Hero -- I mean, common, he is a Reaver; how could he not get enjoyment out of watching his enemies try to run in fear?

25: What are your plans for your muse in the future?
Particular plans for him aren’t.... Exceptional. It will all depend on how the next game goes, mind you. However out of all of my Inquisition children, he is the most likely to die in canon if it becomes an option. It feels like the correct ending for his story.

Dark Adahlaras Headcanons
What would your OC be like as a villain? Adahlaras as a villain would be cold, calculating, and Efficient. He would have spent his teen years training to kill, possibly becoming a hit-man or assassin. He cares little for anyone or their emotions, as long as he meets the ends that he believes to be correct, he will tear down anyone in his way. He is more than willing to pull people in with a facade of intelligence and composure, then throw them at his enemies like pawns in chess. Most likely, he would be in the service of someone, doing what he must to enforce whatever sense of justice and set of rules he has been given.
What is your OC like at their worst? Desperate. An evil Adahlaras that is backed into a corner will turn feral, launching at anything and everything with the intent of ripping it apart and nothing else. His need to be in control would become twisted into a fight of dominance turned deadly, with no intent on surviving as long as he takes down his enemies. He would rather go down bathed in blood and howling than admit defeat.
What villain does your OC most closely resemble in other works? Bellatrix Lestrange comes to mind; dark, quick-witted, with no qualms about slaughtering others to attain their master’s goals; While Adahlaras is more mentally stable, he would easily find entertainment in torturing his enemies.
How can your OC be defeated? Truly defeating him would mean destroying his paths and making everything he has worked to achieve futile. His fatal flaw is his need to prove himself; not just to the world, but to prove to himself that he has been fighting for what is “right” the entire time. In the end, he would have to be broken, questioning everything he has done, and finally admitting the error of his ways. He would commit suicide; even taking his own life means that in the end he was still in control of it.
What makes your OC so dangerous? A lack of apathy. He is given a job that needs completed and he does it, and couldn’t care less if anyone is caught in the crossfire. After losing his family, he would be stuck in an eternal loop of seeing that the world owed him something in return for his pain.

For every “★” I get, I will post a fact about my characters.
Fact 1: Adahlaras enjoys Orlesian plays. He was beyond shocked to learn this about himself after being dragged to a play early on in the Inquisition’s time in Skyhold. The action, drama, and romantic plots speak volumes to him, and he spent weeks after reading through play scripts.
Fact 2: Adahlaras can read tarot cards! He was given his first deck after his clan crossed paths and traded with another Dalish clan, and has spent much of his free time studying and practicing. He often keeps this talent somewhat low key, but is willing to read for anyone that asks; Sera attempted to burn his deck after he did a reading for Cassandra the first time.
