He was right, however, Yusuke was fine with his choice. He chose Keiko, an opportunity to live a happy life but doing that means he had forsaken whatever knowledge he might have gained from his Mazoku ancestry, a chance to fight more battles and control the demon within but really he simply wanted to stay true to his  statement a few years ago, that a life without Keiko is not one worth living. So no matter how much this decision transformed him he knew in his heart that it’s the right one.

“This choice is going to transform me alright, bu I think it’s gonna kick ass.” What about you? Are you happy with the choice you’ve made to live out the rest of your life around your human mother? I mean, you get t’ be a badass demon bandit again if ya really wanted to.”

“Thanks for the tip sunshine and rainbows.” He said dryly as a rebuttal considering Kurama’s usual mantras of wisdom, for real he thought bringing Kurama into his choice would help make things soo much better, but right now he simply confused him even more to the point that the ex spirit detective now laid upon his bed in defeat whilst pondering on what he should do. A new career path, something he could do now that he really can’t fall back on school considering the time’s he’s skipped.

Fortunately enough both Keiko and Kuwabara were doing great academically and he couldn’t be happier for them, him on the other hand. Between his job as a spirit detective, then the years spent away strengthening himself in both body and mind..it really left little space for algebra. What could he do for the rest of his life? Where would he work..he wanted to ensure Keiko continued her studies whilst he’d have a job to save on their home in the future.

“Agh!!! This isn’t the type of choice that’ll just involve me!! Keiko’s life..her future relies on what I choose to do with my life.” He spoke with frustration as his eyes were fixated on the ceiling. “Screw it..what are you plannin’ on doing once you graduate? Maybe hearin’ what you’ve got lined up would bring an idea.”

Word had it that a thief had broken into the sky-born residence his Esteemed Mother resided in. What was stolen, he hadn’t heard of the specifics, but it may have been notable if its disappearance caught someone’s notice. He had a slight idea of who was the culprit based off the rumors flitting about a legendary thief who had been thieving from all sorts of individuals. Without any real rhyme or reason connecting all the robbed items, he could only guess that this was an act of sport.

Curious, he’d sent word out to those who answered to him to seek information on this ‘legendary thief’ to track him down so they could have a talk. It would be best if the thief, who he theorized was thieving for sport, would return the item without any trouble. If not, Sesshomaru was not shy about hounding after someone until he’d accomplished his goal. His incessant hunt for Naraku for the sole fact of insulting his honor was testament to this.

A report of a sighting was all he needed to travel to the outskirts of a bustling human settlement. Perhaps there was someone here who the thief had set their sights on. He casually scans the area, looking for anything suspicious. The only thing he knew for sure was the fact that unless human technology had advanced without his know-how, their kind would have been unable to travel to his Mother’s abode. The thief had to be of spirit or of demon kind.

Would you be friends with your muse if they were real?

DEFINITELY I would be his friend. I mean people say he’s bad and all that, but like the one ep we see him in school..actually ALL the eps we see him in school anime wise he’s really just that punk that skips classes. He never broke no windows, knife no tire, never brought a weapon to school, none of that shit (HELL the worse thing I remember him doin in school in the manga is smoke) SO yeah we’d hang and he’d probably have made me a stronger person faster..BUT yeah after I scope out that the rumors are bullshit yeah we up.

Have you any old muses that you’d love to bring back?

A lot actually. First up I’d love to bring back Seiya from the knights of the zodiac anime, another muse I’d love to roleplay again is Zidane Tribal from FF9, Nero from the devil may cry franchise, the trainer in pokemon colosseum, Peter Pan from Once upon a time, Sanosuke Sagara oor Sojiro Seta from Rurouni Kenshin..homie I can do this all day.

What’s one random headcanon about your muse that people mightn’t know?

Another headcanon that people don’t know I have for Yusuke (well one person might know) is his reluctance to be a father. Raising a kid scares him stiff because he himself had never had a male rolemodel in his life so he’s really scared that their fuck up is gonna make HIM fuck up.

What about your muse are you most proud of?

In hindsight I’m proud of Yusuke for that ending in Yu yu hakusho. I don’t have a big list of anime I’ve completed but the fact that Yusuke chose love at the end of the series instead of power just, boy I’m proud of you for that. Y’all need to understand this was in the era when the anime kings were at their peak (DBZ, bleach and One piece). And to have Yusuke a SHONEN protagonist choose his heart over getting stronger, that shit was great. So yeah, Yusuke loyalty to his loved ones.
