Out from under his jacket pocket was his little bat. It’s a good thing this was a little possible stunt of hers, otherwise, he might have already been thrown out on the street. “Don’t worry he’s gone now…pretty good hidin’ spot by the way. Hope the lighter doesn’t make ya feel like it’s cramped in there.

Kore chimes as she enters the living room to find her son Maki and a familiar face sitting in front of him with what looks like an attempt at doing some sort of project only to get sidetracked by her son's comic collection.

"Glad to see you two have made up." The older woman chuckles as she sets down her bag on the kitchen counter. Their home was a modest apartment, nothing too fancy but it was big enough for three people at least and had good amenities. The perks of working in the medical industry and practically ruining her health for a good few years to be able to get a higher paying job. "Sorry boys... I'd have known I would try and prep somethin' for ya to eat snack on." It was fairly common for her to be stuck working late. However her son only shakes his head. "Nah mom it's ok. Urameshi-san actually whipped up some snacks in the kitchen earlier with what we had in the fridge so we're good." "Oh really? Had no clue the Devil of Sarayashiki was a good cook." The blonde chuckles. "You plannin' on sticking around kiddo? I could order us some takeout it for dinner." ➥ 𝗨𝗡𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗗 / always accepting

“Oh hey Miss Malis.” Yusuke waved hello, it was lazy mostly because his eyes were plastered onto the book. Mostly because he’s not much of a science person. But this comic..Red Hood? Interesting. Maki told him it was about a guy who’s come from nothing, found himself a father figure only to get tortured and die at the end of this young life. Which is..soo very much like his own when he had gotten into a coma.

Now he dispenses vigilante justice..with two guns. “Oh yeah, I’ve been makin’ meals since I was like seven.” He said as he points towards the kitchen, where he’s made takoyaki from scratch, and there were even onigiri. “I won’t stay long..it’s just for the little assignment. Yer kid’s a regular egghead so it looks like I’ll actually get a good grade in science this semester. When yer eatin’ the takoyaki ya let me know how that sauce tastes like.” He spoke as he reached up to grab his jacket.

"Tellin' not to solve their issues through violence is all well and good but what's important is gettin' to the route of why the two decided to throw punches."

"So Maki.... what'd you say?"

That's when her son would flinch in his seat. He couldn't stand this. he's done everything to be a good model student for the sake of not causing trouble for his mom who was doing everything she could to provide for them.... And it all comes crashing down the moment this bastard makes a comment about his mom and it was made even worse when he started saying shit about his own mom.

"I.... I got mad cause he was bad mouthing you and the fact dad's not around..."

"Oh? And what did you say to get hit?"

"I...." It was clear he was embarrassed as he slowly starts sinking into his seat. "I said some crappy stuff about his mom...."

"Liiiike?"

".... Like how you stand down for your job... when she lays down for her—ACK! mOM!" He was interrupted with swift to the head. "No you absolutely deserved to get the black eye." She scolds him with hands on her hips.

"I understand both sides were at fault but I want to apologize on my son's behalf for what he said about your mother kiddo." It's then she turns to bow respectfully to the young man and the guardian who came to his side. "It's clear both sides only started fighting over their parents and wanting to defend their honor. While I agree with you sir that fighting wasn't right.... We can at least know they fought each other with no real ill intentions. I'm willing to let this whole thing slide if the boys are."

That was shocking..hot but still not the typical adult who'd just instantly take the side of her own child. The whole no dad thing really does a number on a person, apparently.

"Mr Urameshi is a good child I assure you, alittle rough around the edge but intentions are what drives his fists forward. Miss...I can't thank you enough for being an understanding individual, but make no mistake he'll still be reprimanded." Normally he'd send him with two weeks on the cage but yusuke would absolutely love that. "Again I'm sorry this even happened in the first place. Now Mr Urameshi I want you to express your sincerest apologies to this young man and his elegant mother." He said as his eyes spots the time on his wristwatch.

Ugh Any other person he'd tell to shove it..but the chairman. He stood up and even bowed. "I got outta line and I'm sorry. Honestly the kid looks like he was pissed so I just wanted t' give him a target..but I guess I could handle the same crap I was dishin' out." Yusuke spoke softly.

Though the man was looking at the boy's mother...she looked familiar..no it couldn't be her. That woman was missing from the Japanese underworld for years.

@titaneus sent an ask: "Alright I'm here, what's the fire?" Kore sighs as she steps into the principal's office to see her son sitting in one of the chairs "Jesus kiddo the hell happened to you?" She turns his face with a cigarette in hand to look over the damage. "Got yer ass kicked that bad and yet yer still livin'. Knew I raised a tough kid...." She glanced over to see the 'perpetrator' and that it happened to be none other than Urameshi Yusuke. Word is he's the literal devil and controls countless gangs.... Pffft with hat getup? Please.

"Alright old man there better be a good reason you called me out of work for this." And the blonde has the audacity to sit on his desk and pull out a cigarette to start smoking. "Ehhh don't gimme that crap I've spotted yer teachers smokin' in the break room. If they got not respect for smokin' outside then I don't have to give a shit either, NOW." She points to the two boys. "Care to tell me why ya kicked my son's ass? And Maki what'd ya do to get yerself hit in the first place?" Boys may be boys but there had to have been a good reason for the fight in the first place. ➥ 𝗨𝗡𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗗 / always accepting

“Well..least your mom’s on time Super punch.” If they were going to wait for Atsuko, then they might have to wait a very long time before she’d show her face here. Hell, he doesn’t even remember if the woman was sober before he felt for school. However, Yusuke still made himself quite comfortable in his seat. “Eh, he needed t’ let out some steam. It’s when he decided t’ be a smart mouth is when I unloaded back.”

He spoke rather casually. Wait..hold on a minute.. Was this woman a babe? Hair’s a little missy..the glasses are dorky, but oh they were doing it. Guess it made sense, pretty boy, pretty mother. Still, the moment Maki mentioned that at least his father was the one running from responsibility and his mother actually stood strong. Then mentioned if the rumors were right, then Yusuke’s mother stood stronger horizontally, and that’s when Yusuke saw red in the moment.

But he managed to stop because the kid had his own demons to contend with. The insults…were just a byproduct of that pain. No matter how much Yusuke might’ve pummeled him, Maki’s internal conflict must hurt twice as much. 

Then without further adieu the door opened once more and it was..the old man? Yusuke’s expression turned from laidback to full on panicked as he quickly stood straight in his seat. The freaking third chairman of all people came on HIS BEHALF?! 

“I’m sorry for the delay. I heard Miss Urameshi could not make it, but here I am.” The man said as he stood straight. He was polite yet authoritative as he stood straight. He then turned to look at the poor boy who’d been pummeled near death. “Mr Urameshi..you know better, you cannot continue to solve your issues through violence.” The man said firmly but not harshly.

“Yes sir!” Yusuke spoke as he sat straight.

“You wanna what!?” She wanted to kiss?? God, he knew that he had developed feelings for her, but he had no idea that she was in the same boat. Well, they’ll never know what to do with these feelings unless they experiment and see just how far they could take them.

And sooo, the detective removes his hands from within his pockets and approaches her. They were close; Yusuke leans in a little closer because he’s naturally aggressive, and then bam, their lips connect for a moment. He’d pull away but remain close to her, mere inches apart before he’d sink closer again and kisses her once more, but for real this time.

Lips pressed against hers and they’d move with passion as the taste of both their gum were intertwined, mint on mint before his fingertips would reach, holding her cheek and then he’d pull away. “Whoa..”

Another night of breeding and once it was over Yusuke’s arms remained around her. Holding his beloved close, keeping her tight showing her just how selfish he could be for both her love and affection. “Mmmm, you always tend t’ smell like a field of roses or somethin’ right after sex. The flight to Shinjuku was quite a long one, there was a part of him that simply wanted them to get there on their own merit (puu back) but he figured by plane would have been the better strategy. It gave Hanamaru and her mother time to prepare for the little rituals, and it gave them the excuse called jetlag to use in order for Yusuke to spend just a day back in Tokyo (he doesn’t need to sleep).

Once that day of leisure was behind them, it was a nice day spent together in meditation, prayer at shrines, and all-around a good date in terms of doing whatever they could to ensure the two became as fertile as possible. 

Then that night, it was nonstop. Yusuke’s pretty sure they might be kicked out the following day due to noise complaints..and structural damage as well. However, Yusuke was far too focused on his wife in the moment. Them making love was always a wild and passionate ride..and this time it really does feel different. He’s not incredibly spiritual (eventhough he’s met deities) but there was something special in the mix of their sex.

Those feelings manifested even stronger the moment Alyssa pulls away from their kiss just to tell him that she loved him. Yusuke remained on top of her, their bed ruined, nearly destroyed, his fingertips gently caressing her cheek as his doe-brown eyes looked into hers. “I love ya too..and pretty soon I’ll have love t’ share between you and our kid.” Both his hands gently held her by her cheeks. “It’s gonna work out this time…I can feel it.”

“That’s what I like to hear.” Hitomi herself was quite well with the kids, a very good tutor when it comes down to teaching them japanese..however for now Nero remains their only translate; however, he does not mind translating a sentence or five for them or even translating what they’d want to say right back, Nero was just filled with joy, considering this family was slowly getting together.

“Normally I’d offer you a plate too, but I can understand it’s probably tough for the two of you showing up in the first place given Tomi’s past with Hanamaru’s. So I’m not gonna suggest anything that’d make you two stay longer than you’d want to.”

Totally not her fault that he had 'demanded' her attention, calling her name a second time (cause she hadnt honestly been paying attention the first time), right as she was spitting watermelon seeds. Her head had turned towards him at the same time like an instinct swivel and the movement rewarded Yusuke with getting pelted in the cheek by a bit of watermelon seeds. A couple of which stuck to his skin now. She froze, amusement was the first to show itself unexpectedly in barely stifled choked laughter until she noticed his hands had stilled on the chopping block where he was in the middle of chopping watermelons. Her laughter ended abruptly as her cheeks began to turn red. "Hold..hold on now that wasn't on purpose". Embarrassed stammering as she was quick to pick up her little plate of watermelon slices and attempt to escape the immediate range of his arms reach. (Tamaryn 😂) ➥ 𝗨𝗡𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗗 / always accepting

“I’d say it’s hot but I think the endurance trainin’ I did a few years back’re helpin’ me against this heat.” CHOP! Yusuke spoke as he’s chopping up another bowl of watermelon. One could never predict whether or not the neighbors would see them in the backyard and decide to drop in considering he’s always been a welcoming host. “What’re you doin’ that’d help ya out with the summer?” Then there was silence.

“Princess?? Tammy?? Tambourine? Tamaryn!?” Gosh was she deaf today? He would understand if she was wearing earphones because then he would have justchalk it up to music etiquette and kept quiet, but she was clearly just ignoring hi- PIT!PIT!PIT! Yusuke’s eyes closed as he was pelted with a few number of seeds. Oh this woman she did it on purpose.

“You little-...” He then grabbed his knife and chased her around his head. “Why’re ya runnin’?? Jus’ hold still I got somethin’ t’ tell ya.”

Some part of herself, deep in the back of her mind, whispered: the Joestars won't need me forever. One day, the little family she'd adopted as her own to watch over would go the way all mortals went, and where would she be then? Unless she could learn to build and crew a ship all by herself and somehow find where the Straight Road to the Undying Lands lay, she would be back to lingering in this world alone until she encountered something that would forcibly separate her spirit from her body. It was clear that Yusuke wanted to help; she could at least hear him out.

"If... you're willing to show this place of yours to me, I am... at least willing to see it. To find out whether the people there will accept my presence among them."

“Oh great!!!” He said with a smile on his face as Puu flops towards them from their air using those floppy ears as wings. As he chirps his name, his body began to engulf in flames turning the once pint-sized spirit beast into a sixteen-foot phoenix. 

“Puuu..” The azure fowl chirps happily before kneeling down, allowing the two to get on his back from his neck.

“Let’s go..because the closest gate from here is actually in the sky.” Yusuke climbs up upon Puu’s feathered neck before extending a hand to help her get ontop of him as well. “It’s not gonna be too far a flight…Six minutes tops.”

He  would  always  have  a  hard  time  to  take  that  compliment,  but  this  time,  casual  embarrassment  about  it  seemed  not  to  last  long.  It  was  flattering.  ❝  My  scent  not  troubling  too  much  your  nose!  ❞  As  something  he  could  expect  from  Yusuke,  he  smiled  happily  at  the  idea.  He  could  imagine  on  his  side  Hiei  staring  back  at  Yusuke,  wondering  in  which  manner  his  friend  was  serious  before  want  to  punch  him  …  Hiei  inside  a  boyband  …  in  which  manner  he  would  have  to  convince  him?  He  wouldn’t  probably  won’t  even  expressing  one  word  of  song,  too  scared  to  be  mocked  at.  ❝  Well  …  with  number  of  fans  we  will  have  in  couple  of  seconds,  success  will  be  written  on  my  head  …  ❞  Thanks  to  Yoko  Kurama  than  him  though,  as  much  there  was  no  more  difference  about  them  now,  for  focusing  to  be  the  random  human  that  be  found  in  the  street.  ❝  It  seems  my  beauty  giving  you  idea  to  becoming  affluent  quickly.  If  you  ever  want  to  try  it,  I  will  let  you  convince  Kubawara  while  convince  Hiei  to  give  you  a  singing  without  murder  you.  ❞  It  would  be  safer  inside  this  world  than  the  Makai,  in  which  Yusuke  already  saw  lot  of  rotten  corruption  humanity  and  demons  alike  were  ready  to  do  for  money.  There  was  another  embarrassment  sound  as  he  misunderstanding  what  he  was  searching  to  say.  He  had  no  clear  reaction  about  it,  as  there  was  confusion  about  the  need  to  do  that.  ❝  Strange  custom  of  humans  to  want  a  trophy  as  boyfriend  or  girlfriend  for  looking  good  …  ❞  There  was  an  additional  laugh  as  he  appreciated  the  compliment.  ❝  Aren’t  I  already  an  ambassador?  Believe  me,  I  will  do  my  best  for  ensuring  you  will  a  good  and  great  king.  Besides,  it’s  a  bit  my  mission  to  be  sure  everything  is  alright  for  you.  ❞

“Gettin’ a good fight outta Hiei cause he’s too proud t’ be in a boyband sounds like a great thursday night. If anything it’d beat havin’ t’ do homework. (oldest kid in his highschool).” Thinking about it now, being in a boyband would definitely boost his popularity at school..he’s already gotten quite the sullied name because he thwarts bullies…but this, this could elevate him into new heights, which brought a frown to his face. Then the conversation had went right back to having a trophy lover. “I’m from a house that had no structure whatsoever so I couldn’t even give ya a reason why people have trophy wives and husbands. And I believe ya Kurama. That’s why you’ll be my right-hand man.”

"SOMEONE CALL 911!" A voice called out, the beach's lifeguard was seen holding a young student's body in her arms. She had done the necessary precautions to try and resuscitate her, but nothing worked..it seemed the girl had drowned; it was rather tragic.

The students who were there on their field trip were in the biggest cancellation of their young lives. One of their own: Toyama Aiyumi had perished, and it seemed the culprit was drowning.

In fact, Yusuke could remember that there was yelling, and with that yelling brought attention, but alas, they were too late to arrive..too late to find out that it was a friend of hers who was screaming to inform the lifeguard or anyone near that she was drowning.

"Somethin's not right here Snow..That's Yumi..she's on the school's swim team..how the hell did she, of all people, wind up drowning?" Yusuke asked her softly. Something was... wrong, his detective brain was working into overdrive at this point.

While her classmates may be having fun but Yuu could certainly live without the intense rays of the sun. She adjusts the sunhat she had bought just for this trip as she looked over that morbid scene ahead.

Not more than ten minutes ago she suffered from a vision as well. She was surrounded by and endless ocean and hands wrapping around her from behind. Immediately she decided she wasn't going anywhere near the water after that vision, even less so when she couldn't swim to save her life.

".... That is odd.... You don't think someone or something did it do you?"

“Yer definitely smellin’ what I’m cookin’.” So much for some fun in the sun..and here Yusuke was going to try and sneak Yuu off for a little private adventure, but it looks like there needs to be a private investigation. For the most part..when a human dies, one would typically see a makai parasyte either leave its host or tighten their hold to claim the body.

“Okay!! First years with me!!” Kanaki-sensei hollers over the megaphone which meant Yusuke needed to leave (she can be a second or third since Yusuke enrolled after her).

“Don’t go explorin’ this on yer own. This probably gonna be a gatherin’ for when the police show up.” He’s been through these a couple of times, so he’s known the drill. “The second yer free from questionin’ send me a test..until then-” That’s when he secretly gave her ass a little fondle. “Try n’ eavesdrop if ya can, she was a second year so  see what you can find out.”

@tsukuharuko sent an ask: Yusuke might be woken up by weird noises. Like a beast gurgling, or a creature gasping for air. It comes from the bathroom. The door is ajar. All it takes is just a gentle push to the wooden surface to make the door squeak open, and finally reveal the source of that inhuman mess...

"Pregnancy sickness is the worst," Haruko whined, bent over the toilet, her face pale and gaunt, her eyes marked by dark circles. "However said having a kid is a blessing probably never got pregnant themselves!' ➥ 𝗨𝗡𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗗 / always accepting

He was having such a good dream too until he heard the sound of something awful. Then he’d hear it again, and finally it roused him enough to wake from his slumber. Though still groggy he slowly finds his way towards the bathroom. Pushing the door that’s been left slightly open to find poor Haruko sprawled over the toilet as though she’s had too much to drink the night before.

“Mornin’ sickness huh.” He’d stretch and yawn. “That means I gotta make sure yer food’s bland and easy on your stomach. I’ll probably have t’ keep the cookin’ outta the house for awhile.”

Summer-esque inbox call here. Might be a day at the beach, chopping watermelon, water park or hell a job in the heat. Hit the heart and he'll be seeing you.

Yusuke's daydreaming stole Haruko a soft chuckle. She wouldn't say it, but it was cute to imagine him with a little girl... Though, now that he mentioned getting used to it, she's ironically feeling a bit nostalgic at the idea of not having a little boy instead. A little, scrappy Yusuke that would play with the chickens and the dogs and bring her flowers while covered all in mud... Maybe a little Razor wouldn't be too bad after all...

"Ah??"

The voice calling her name stole her from her stupor. Haruko blinked, staring at Yusuke's stretched hand. A shiver ran down her spine. What if it was gonna be a girl for real? What if it wasn't going to be a boy? Now she felt guilty for having denied little Razor a chance in her mind. She gave Yusuke a lost look, biting her lip while a knot rose in her throat.

"Yusuke..." She stammered. "I... I don't know if I wanna know if it's a boy or a girl."

“Huh?? Thinkin’ of backin’ off??” He asked with curiosity in his voice, looking at her with a single raised brow before he’d smile. “H’alright if yer nervous or feelin’ some kind a way about this gender reveal then I’ll happily walk into that office for the both of us and tell her we’ll jus’ cancel the appointment. That way ya wouldn’t have t’ walk too much. We can do that, you know I’d do anythin’ for you. BUT if yer jus’ feelin’ nervous I’l be right there with ya. We got into this together soo I’m not bailin’ on ya now. Lean on me if ya want a little extra strength.”

He’s standing there, looking at her and keeping his arm extended forward. Hell, if the women before them were still here, they’d probably give the two a little ‘awww moment’. “So, what’s it gonna be? We're gonna go in there and get that reveal or are we gonna go home and give our kid an in-home sibling?”

Haruko groaned at the umpteenth suggestion of Razor. Edge didn't sound much better either.

"Dunno," she muttered at the following names. "I think it would be nicer for the baby to have their own name. It's their identity after all... And what if you get confused and called one instead of the other?" She sighed. "It might be messy. I appreciate the thought, though," she assured, giving Yusuke a gentle pinch on the cheek.

At his question, however, she tilted her head with a quick pondering hum.

"They haven't said much about it to be honest," she admitted. "All they say is that what matters is that it's gonna be a healthy baby. Keitaro things it's gonna be a girl," she added, rolling her eyes at his little brother's practical comment, "because it's 'statistically more probable', or something like that..."

“A girl huh..everyone’s goin’ in the daughter direction. Hrmmm I might as well try and process that too..” Yusuke now say back in his seat as he crosses both his arms over his chest. Now his mind is just imagining the scene of having a daughter…he’s sitting on the couch at home in their living room watching wrestling and both him and his daughter are having the time of their lives enjoying the show.

Making it quite noisy for poor Haruko, but in his mind she’s happy. The sight of her two favorite people bounding seemed to have kept her warm. There’s a smile on his face in real time, the thought of having a daughter was so grand. “Man I can even make her my second student too, though she’ll be the true successor of the Urameshi Martial arts.” He spoke out loud rather than think those thoughts.

“Ms Tsukushima?” the secretary had called out. “The doctor will see you in room two.” She said.

Yusuke quickly rises from his own seat and extended an arm out towards her to give her a hand out of her seat. “Looks like it’s our turn Sunflower. Jus’ think of it. After that baby’s born yer gonna be Mrs Urameshi.”
