Hard weekend very similar to 2 weeks ago when I did 20.2 and the hyrox 8km race. I actually felt better this weekend as my body is gradually adapting to this type of abuse. 😁 Will you underperform if you don't rest and eat at least to maintenance? 100% yes! Especially if you have to travel overnight. But can you still hold your own? 100% yes. My approach with the #fitnessadaptationprinciples and #adaptivetrainingprinciples has allowed me to get very lean and still perform at a high level.
