What kind of animals and creature are native to the lands in Trials? Are they similar to earth's at all? Or are they more ✨magical✨
There are quite a few that are similar to earth, like horses, various cat and dog breeds, chickens, etc.! Horses tend to be breed both smaller (but not quite pony sized) and larger to fit the races better -- some horses are also breed for battle and tend to be a lot stronger and a lot more aggressive if not trained. Livestock are only partially domesticated and often live on large stretches of 'untamed' land that they can wonder freely on.
Cats and dogs are the same, though there are some wackier breeds that come in size small and large lol!! There are also 'dragons' but they're more like very large snakes that can make a really far horizontal and vertical leap which gives the illusion of flying. Those dragons are sometimes tamed and domesticated to be used for transport or labor, but rarely. They are... far too large and require way too much food to be kept healthy and happy.
Another (which kinda counts as flora?) is a species of 'vine' that wrap around travelers and sometimes end up dragging them off into the forests. Occasionally, they prove to be good allies, and will help kind travelers navigate the forests in exchange for a ride to a new home!
