Matt Burnett I think answered a question similar to this. It’s because she was used to being fused with Garnet, thus was used to having two types of vision

Oh wow, now it makes me wonder more about their fusion, well all fusions really. Cause it seems Amethyst and Pearl can't stay fused for long cause of their clashing personalities.. so does that mean we'll see more Lapis and Jasper since they're so incompatible?

For the potato chips, this is what you gots t'do:

Wash and peel your potato

Slice it into thin chips (a mandolin is a good investment if you want to do this a lot)

Wash the chips to make them less starchy and blot them dry

Toss them in an oil of your choice and add seasonings if you want

Lay them on a microwave safe plate so they aren't touching and microwave them for two minutes

Flip them other and rearrange them

Microwave for two more minutes and check to see if they're done

If they're not done yet, microwave in 15 second increments so they won't burn
