Bringing the kids to school headcanon
Lloyd:
Brings his kid to school in style! Why walking or taking the bus, when you have a magical dragon?! His kid loooves those rides, they are so much fun! The only thing it doesn’t like, is the attention they gain through it. Especially Lloyd, being the green Ninja and all. But the worst part is, no matter how often the little one tells dad not to do it, he gives it a kiss every morning..in front of the half school. Don’t blame him..he loves his kid too much…
Kai:
“No thanks dad, I rather take the bus.” “You sure? But I don’t think the bus has those awesome fire effects my ride has!” He always insists to bring the kid/s to school..even when they are hesistant about it. “Do you plan to also pick me up again…?!” “Of course!…no don’t give me that look!” “But-..” “Do you want your mother to pick you up?!” “No! Mum’s worse!” “Case closed! See you later then!..and don’t learn too hard, or your head starts standing in flames ;D” “….” (it was easier to describe it in a dialogue rather then explaining it in words)
Cole:
The cool dad. Walks his kid to school every day and carries it’s schoolbag (I got this idea from someone elses headcanon..but I loved it so much). The other kids from school tend to be slightly jealous about having a dad like him. Acts relaxed and ‘manly’ in front of the other school kids, but does give his little one every morning a kiss on it’s head when no on is looking. He doesn’t want to unnecessarily embarrass it. Picks it up again. Always asks how school was and what they learned that day.
Jay:
Even though he can’t manifest a dragon any longer, he still has plenty of various flying rides to take his kid/s to school. Nobody really takes him serious from the other kids in school, but they do love his creations. Offers free rides for fun. “Dad please don’t.” Makes jokes to ease-up his kids start in the school morning..mostly results in the kid just leaving and him -realising it too late- waving after it and yelling to have fun. He also makes little jokes when his kid/s had a bad day in school to make them laugh again. It doesn’t always work, but they appreciate it, as they know he is only trying to make them feel better again.
Nya:
Let’s the kid/s decide whenever they want her to bring them to school or not. Gets sometimes unwanted attention from the other kids at the school. “Your mum is youthful..” “..and pretty.” “Shut up! That is my mum you are talking about!” (sorry..season 3 anyone?). Always there to defend her kids when anything wrongful happens (forgot to the the homework and got in trouble? Got a grade worse then a C? “I’ll talk to your teacher about that!” “Please don’t do that mum!”)
Zane:
When the others are busy, they tell Zane to either get the kids to school or pick them up (or both). The kids don’t mind it, as they like spending time with “funny uncle Zane”. He helps them with their homework, but the kids use this to let him do all the work while they do other things. Once their parents however realise this, they tell Zane to teach them every time they have an important test and/or need help with their homework, as a punishment. It became the worst for the kids.
