It’s first anniversary of my dads death and my dealer didn’t tell me he was going to Vegas for the weekend 🙃🙃🙃 I don’t like copping on the street much anymore and my regular dude gives me a great deal but also I’m not gonna make it through today without something because substance abuse is literally my only coping skill

Addiction Recovery never ends. I’ll always be in recovery even though it’s been 11 years and 6months I know if I I stopped taking methadone I would buy some pills the same day. Why? Because life is stressful and my coping skills suck. Ignoring the problem doesn’t make it go away yet that’s what I’ve been doing for the last few years. It’s increasingly worse at the moment and all I want to do is run away from everyone.

Starting monday, I'm walking to work every day. I'm not drinking beer. I'm sticking to my no bread/mostly gluten free diet. I'm going to replace beer with something else. I'm unsure of what yet. But something. Because I want to get more fit in the four months before my boyfriend is back. & it's pointless to try when I drink so much beer. So these last 9 tall cans I have are the end of something I never thought I'd want to end. But I'm committed to this. I'm doing it. I wanna get super sexy
