I COLORED MY BOIS WHOOOOOOOOO
Ahem anyways I finally colored Leech. They look amazing. It took me a while to figure out color since I kinda despise it? (Too much work and effort to learn color theory) Kinda why I only do black n white heh heh but I'm glad I attempted. Tho idk if I'll do more since I'm also limited in color so doing others will be hard.
Also layering is such a neat thing it gives this shading illusion that's very cool
Also have draft Leech. They vibing.
Leech belongs to me
I got to this illustration in the book, “Here There Be Dragons,” by James Owen, and just had to add color.
I’m a bit disappointed with the content of the book. Some of it is great and other bits fall flat. I was talking with @estuarymagicks about last night and I think I’m going to turn the book as a whole into a long term art project. Update: I’m naming this project “Dragons: An Altered Book.”
This is Part 1 - Standing Stones Part 2 - Torches - can be found [here].
I colored this drawing from this post and it looks so good! The magic of color!
(This is mostly shading but that's cool too.)

I pulled out some hand dyed linen that I’d bought and a 5 weight pearl cotton thread and began stitching.
Taking that first stitch.
and a few more, because……

Poisoning the pureness with some color is like understanding the weirdness in life. It is an interesting world we are living in.
