I had an extra day in Addis so instead of working, I paid a taxi driver to take me around the city. I first bought coffee beans because Ethiopia; then went to the National Museum of Ethiopia and saw “Lucy” or what’s left of her. I went to a very colorful church on the top of a hill which I think was called St. Mary’s. I took selfies, naturally, as you do if you are me or traveling by yourself. I then got lost while buying spices in Africa’s largest market or Mercado, which is not to be confused with Hermano (don’t worry, I made it out with the help of a young, friendly gentleman). I then went to a craft store where the guy tried to sell me a $300 broken candelabra. I am now going to take a power nap because my belly is full of injera following a lot of day. Thank you all for continuing to pay your taxpayer dollars - rest assured I am truly enjoying these travel experiences. #iamexactlytherightage #addisababastreets #mercado #thanksunclebooz #covfefe #worklyfetravel #ethiopia🇪🇹 (at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia) https://www.instagram.com/p/BtQr-Ojh3CJM3vnPkwGiQZrDhRce_0dDAT9V4c0/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1izsu73p966i1
