Chapter 8:  Who knew Possesion could be Warm and Unsettling.

Everything goes green my vision blurs and I feel like I am being electrocuted all over again. Is this an echo of my death? I nearly pass out from the pain. Focusing my eye I see the weirdness of the areas surrounding me. Floating islands, random green shapes and blobs oozing from everywhere and the endless sea of green and doors. My communicator beeps then I hear Jazz. "So any idea where he is?" she still sounded worried.

"Idea yes, where is complicated. I followed him to the ghost zone but lost him through the portal." I float forward-looking around.

"He must have gone to his lair, he always feels safe there. Stay at the portal I am going to join you and we can go to his lair." Jazz basically orders me. So I wait for a few minutes by the portal.

I watch blob ghosts drift by minding their own business. Jazz falls through the portal. I float over and grab her hand so she floats with me. "So I know in the ghost zone humans are the ghosts, so in theory, this should work." She says before she somehow phases into my body. I feel a warmth that I am not used to in my ghost form but it comes with violent shivers and the violation of my personal space.

"How?!" I struggle to maintain control. Then I hear Jazz's voice in my head. "Stop fighting me, I will leave you conscious just let me, pilot for a bit." Her words are calm. "Fine." I respond, letting myself relax and feeling like I have taken a step back in my own body.

I feel my body start moving on its own. I take note of the island with a skull on it. "That is Skulker's lair." I hear my own voice but it isn't my words. We pass a giant library and a school. About 15 more minutes of flying we come to a door with stickers all over it and glowing stars and if that wasn't enough to give it away it has "Danny's Bedroom" written on it. Kinda Obvious but it's his.

"Wait, was that my thought or yours?" I think. "Mine." Jazz replays still with my voice, jeez that is creepy. "You know I can hear everything you are thinking like this?" She questions. "Well, of course. Not like I haven't overshadowed someone before....." I respond not quite realizing the emphasis on "haven't".

Without warning Jazz just leaves my body and the warm feeling leaves as well. I realize I kinda liked the warmth in my ghost form. She holds my hand and I make sure she is floating with me. She looks at me. "Once we are done with this I am going to get Danny to teach you how to overshadow someone. Since a human got the better of you, you need lessons." She smiles at me.

We both float over to Danny's door and knock on it. The door creaks open.
