part I - morning surprises
okay I’m a bit impatient so I’ll post the first part of the msby au. happy reading guys
It was just like any other morning in the MSBY household.
“Take that!” Atsumu shouted.
“No way!” Hinata screamed back, “You haven’t seen my fireball attack yet!”
“I can counter it with this new attack!”
“Wait what- When the heck did you even get that?”
The sound of rapid movements and shouts echoed in the living room.
Bokuto was sitting on the couch watching the two play.
Sakusa however was the only one preparing breakfast.
“Atsumu’s gonna win!” Bokuto shouted in excitement.
“In his dreams!” Hinata said.
Sakusa sighed from the kitchen: “How do they have so much energy in the morning?”
He wondered if they actually went to sleep last night because he was pretty sure, he heard those same controller clicks at three in the morning.
With annoyance in his voice, Sakusa called them: “Breakfast is ready!”
Bokuto immediately ran to the kitchen, moving all the plates onto the dining table.
However, the sound of rapid controller movements was still the only thing heard.
“I said breakfast is ready!” Sakusa tried again.
Still, no movement from either Hinata or Atsumu.
As volleyball players it should be a given to have proper, balanced meals and that is why Sakusa was even more annoyed that he was ignored.
As he stomped into the living room, he unplugged the TV from its socket.
“HEY-“ did Hinata and Atsumu scream simultaneously.
“For the third time. Breakfast. Is. Ready. If I have to call you guys just one more time-“ but even before Sakusa could finish his sentence, he was interrupted.
Everyone’s eyes grew wide at the sound of a crying baby.
Bokuto turned to the rest in the living room wondering if he was the only one hearing that noise.
Sakusa listened carefully, walking towards the source of noise. His feet brought him to the front door while the other three stood right behind him as he opened the door.
And there it laid.
A crying baby in a cushioned cardboard box, covered with a blanket right on their doorstep.
“Oh my god...”
