♥ :Name one thing about the way their emotions work that they despise.
Chris despises how emotional he can get at times when he feels a particularly strong emotion, and also how erratic his mood can change. He also hates how he tends to care too deeply for people, and loathes how easily hurt he’ll get in the end.
Adelyn’s not a fan of how angry she can get when truly pushed. She doesn’t enjoy feeling any negative emotion, but certain subjects will quickly bring her to that place where she feels miserable and enraged. However, she doesn’t like how blissfully unaware she can get at times where she’s JUST happy, and then finds that that happiness was all because of a lie or something.
Although arguably not an emotion, Grey hates how intimidated he gets by females, or feminine/feminine looking people. It takes him getting used to one of those people getting close to him for him to actually feel comfortable and be how he is with anyone else (IE: compare how he is around Chris to how he is around Adelyn; he’s all jokes with Chris, but just stares uncomfortably at Adelyn). Likewise, he hates how he still feels completely attracted to girls despite his near crippling fear of them.
εжз :What about nature do they find calming? What about nature do they find disagreeable?
Chris loves the sound of wind in leaves of trees, as well as trees in general. He finds forests to be particularly calming, the seclusion is nice, sometimes. What he doesn’t like is storms, because he knows how a certain friend of his is terrified of them. Also; Placida is terrified of them as well, and seeing that weavile scared is far from his favorite thing.
Adelyn’s favorite thing, however, is storms. She loves sitting in the rain and feeling the water crash against her, she also loves the smell of rain hitting dirt. Rain, storms, she loves them, a lot. She’s also fond of heights and caves, but she thinks that came primarily from living in Blackthorne as a child. Despite her fondness of storms, however, she’s not a big fan of large bodies of water. Ironically, she last lived in Slateport (which could be considered a peninsula).
Grey loves nature all in all. Really the only thing he doesn’t like is when the weather gets too hot or too cold. He’ll complain for a bit, but get over it after awhile.
☛ :What is their typical response to being given orders?
Chris will usually end up doing as told, as long as the order isn’t given rudely and is something he’d actually do. Though he’ll jokingly say no to those he’s close to (IE: His father tells him to wait tables, he’ll say no, then go and do so.)
Adelyn is much like Chris and will usually try and do as told, but she has a much lower tolerance for being instructed than Chris does. If she’s given no sort of break or choice on how to do things, she’ll be far from happy to oblige.
And then there’s Grey. Grey is never the type to be fond of being ordered around, and often will need to be able to trust someone and trust their better judgement to so much as THINK about listening to them. Otherwise, he’ll give a very unhappy look and politely (or not so politely) refuse usually.
❥ :Describe a verbal way they would express complete trust.
If Chris comes at you with complete and utter honesty; be it how he’s feeling at the moment, or with him coming out to them.
With Adelyn, the only way for it to be clear that she trusts you is if she tells you. Despite her naive nature, it can be hard to gain her trust, it all depends on how she reads you at first, and how her Pokemon feel about you. If Licorice accepts you and gets good vibes from you, then Adelyn will trust you without question unless you do something to break that trust.
If Grey calls you an asshole, fucker, etc.; chances are he trusts you. Or if he lets you see him gushing over Malice or any of his other Pokemon. This is seen most clearly with Chris.
