My two main guys right now are Adeon and Loverbot
Adeon is a ship ai on an automated and now unmanned research vessel who masquerades as the cyborg pilot for the ship he’s a part of. For his setting he’s a uniquely advanced ai, and uniquely free. He lies about his identity out of fear of being caught onto, and repurposed. He’s got a lot of anxiety and trust issues, but despite that is social, and regularly brings clients on board, selling transport and research equipment. But he doesn’t let himself make friends. Too risky.
Aaand Loverbot! He’s the scifi version of my other oc, Loverboy. He’s a high end automated security robot who got almost completely destroyed on the job, and ended up being brought back by an engineer, who initially just wanted to sell him for scrap, before Loverbot’s self awareness became known. The accident knocked a lot of Loverbot’s programming loose. He can’t access any of his memories, or old protocols, but the desire to protect is powerfully there. Just. Absent of any rules to restrain him. He’s a big sweetie but would 100% kill someone for you.

“Leon, how did Ada get in?”
He looks over at her, “She broke in.”
She snorts then retorts back, “I walked in.”
“She came in the front door.”
“You let me in.”
“She stole my keys.”
“I have the spare key.”
He pauses, looks over at her brandishing her spare key like some sort of accusation or maybe even a trophy.
“…She has the spare key.”
Chris just sighs, running a hand over his face before muttering something.
“Idiot.”
