We Call The Shots || Lonnie & Erin [Spy AU]

If there was one thing she had learned all these years, it was how to properly smile in the presence of the party host. Too wide and they'd think she was too enthusiastic, trying to cover up something. Too small and she'd seem impatient, expecting something. Waiting for something.

Which she was, that something being her partner. Of course he had to be late. Seven o'clock, she told him the night before. Seven. Her watch read seven twenty when she glanced down, and it took more strength than necessary to keep herself from scoffing aloud. When Lonnie arrived, Erin would give him an earful--and maybe a punch to the side.

Once the host drifted back into the sea of people, the blonde made her way to the bar, leaning against it as she signaled for a drink. She checked her watch again. Seven thirty. At this time, they should have been in their heist clothes rather than a fancy suit and dress, and well on their way to the penthouse stories above.

If Lonnie was late because he couldn't tie his damn tie, she'd definitely punch him.

Since BSG and Mass Effect so often collide (and I just love ME roleplayers), I've decided to update Lucius' universes page and give him an ME AU. I will forewarn that I have not played Mass Effect (despite my many attempts to figure out how to get it to work on a Mac...dammit, Apple! But for real, if anyone knows the answer to this conundrum, hit me up.), so there may be errors here and there. But Lucius will probably be as lost as I am, so it all works out.

Mass Effect Verse: au: sanity gathers rust

Pegasus was boarded. The Six escaped. Admiral Cain was shot, point-blank. And that, more or less, ended the ship's relationship with Galactica.

Pegasus jumped to a new system to escape the cylons and the crew found themselves with another problem entirely on their hands. They were in a new verse with new rules. Cylons gave way to Reapers. Pegasus dismantled and most of the crew found their own way.

Lucius got himself a spot aboard The Normandy, helmed by Commander Iveline Shepard. While he's a good soldier and a good fighter pilot, artificial intelligence brings out the worst in him and he's more likely to shoot than ask questions.
