A distraction from life | Ash and Benji
Benji tossed his phone onto his bedside table, sitting up after spending the last few minutes staring pointlessly at the ceiling. He swung his legs off the bed and sighed, standing up and walking over to his cupboard. He put a warm hooded jumper on over his shirt and rolled the sleeves up, waiting for Ash to get back to the room. He wasn't sure how to comfort someone who had been cheated on, but every time he heard the word 'cheater' he was reminded of what he did to loose his ex-girlfriend. It was stupid, when he allowed himself to fall weak for just one moment while he let himself kiss another girl. He'd lost one of the few people he actually cared about in his life because of it, but he only had himself to blame.
He bit his lip, shaking his head as he tried to push back any memories that would cause him to feel bad about himself. He usually did that all the time; pushed bad thoughts to the back of his mind, ignoring them and doing things that made him feel good, made him feel better about himself...and made him feel wanted. He wasn't sure if Ash was up for going out somewhere or just staying in and talking, so he kept his car keys clenched in his hands in case, as he waited for her.
