What if... Shane has a demon inside of his body instead of shane being the demon? Instead of like, "Hey, Ryan. I'm a demon." And go for, "Hey, Ryan. I'm Shane and I have a demon." Kinda like the Venom (2018 film). That'd be cool. That way, there is Shane and Lucifer in his body. Him and Luci are so compatible to each other that Luci himself refused to leave the mortal body alone, (while Shane is ofc traumatized at first but he got used to it.) Shane should've died when Luci entered his body but he didn't and now there's two souls inside of his body. They don't fight. They're cool. Luci was never been a mortal since centuries so he wants to become one by having a vessel. I don't know I'm bad with words, anyway it kind of explains the "There's no ghost here, Ryan." Because he has a devil inside of his body. Because honestly, the idea of Shane-died-in-a-car-crash or Shane-died-at-birth sounds more horrifying to me, Luci just discovered the body on the sidewalk or a dead infant because he wants a vessel, and its giving me night terrors. Its like, Ryan's life is a joke, or a lie, or etc. Its giving me existential crisis. Its like there was no Shane in the first place, i get that its sweet having a demon crush on you but I prefer "Shane!human with a demon" instead of 'No Shane, just Luci'. Anyway, someone should write where shane has a demon and has a story based on Venom. Not entirely, more like inspired.
