The best thing by far about having teachers with ADHD is that they're more chaos than the class is.

My art teacher interrupts instruction at least twice during each class to point out the stupidest shit. Said teacher also is in charge of our yearbook, making it so the yearbook will be absolute chaos and not at all what a yearbook should look like.

My civics teacher gave us an end of year project to create a presidential campaign for any character, fictional or not.

End result?

Lewis from Stardew Valley is becoming president.

While I love my classroom, I often have to get out of there! My coworkers find me just walking the halls during in-service preparation days, my off periods, in the middle of class sometimes… ok I’m joking about that one!I have need a change of scenery in my school day. When I have an off period I will walk to the gym, the front office, go watch another teacher’s classroom, go outside or anything that’s not in my classroom. I’ve actually benefited in several ways for this. Fresh air and change of view is great.
