Irene was waiting for her daughter to come out of school. When she saw Sherlock, she was rather surprised. "Mr. Holmes. What are you doing at a place like this?" The former dominatrix asked curiously.
"Wow, I never thought you would want to have a baby. I thought it would disrupt your.. er.. business?" //confused molly ins confused. pregnant meme
My muse announces that they’re pregnant, how does yours react?
{I don’t blame the poor thing.}
"It would, if I wasn’t already retired from the business." Irene shrugged, keeping her hand on her belly. She had gotten away from that lifestyle long before this happened. "I haven’t really told my husband, yet."
Bathrobe: "Can you get back in?" John asked, moving to hold his umbrella over her.
My character just got locked outside in nothing but their bathrobe. Your character happens by as a light rain starts. What does your character do?
Irene was getting ready for work, and her husband had already left to take the kids to school on his way to The Yard. What timing to get the mail. To make matters worse, it started to rain. Like her bathrobe didn’t already leave little to the imagination. She certainly jumped when John came around. “If I was able to, I wouldn’t be out here still.” She replied, pretty straightforwardly.
marymarynotcontraryagra replied to your post:Would you rather?: John or Mary Watson
I think these two would either love or hate each other, especially after what Mary did to Sherlock.
You do have a good point, even if it doesn't entirely matter to her. At least Sherlock survived. Besides, her and Sherlock are just friends. Her love and loyalty will alway be with her husband, Anderson (theforensicscientist).
I got these questions a while back for a mun/muse video I wanted to do, but the couple of times I tried to make it, it failed, and I just neglected to make the video. So, I'm just going to answer the questions now.

1. Why did you get into the profession you're in?
"You mean being a librarian? Oh, I just love to read, especially my detective stories." (Irene, I don't think they mean that one.) "Wait, they're talking about...? Oh... *clears throat, feeling a little awkward* I'd rather not talk about it." ((The backstory on how she became a dominatrix completely varies. In this case, for her Adlerson!Verse, it was just something she experimented with her senior year of high school/her freshman year of college, and it just enjoyed it.))
2. How did you get the title "The Woman"?
"Part of it was from Jim, part of it was from personal preference, and a part of it was from my clients."

1. Why do you rp Irene?
It was just a random idea I had one day. I was watching several clips of Irene/Lara Pulver in action in the episode ASiB, and I wanted to give her a try. She's technically the second canon character I attempted to play. (The first one was God from TDC (The Devil's Carnival), and the third being Philip Anderson.) I even asked my friend Amy (finifugaleleven) if I should do it. She told me that if I wanted to do it, I should just go for it, and that she thought I could pull her off rather nicely. So, one URL and blog change later (since this use to be a blog for one of my OCs, Catherine Dalimar), here I am, playing as the infamous, now former, professional dominatrix.
2. If you spend a day with Irene, what would you do?
(*Smirks* "I know what I would do.") Irene, shut up. This is my question, and a good one at that. I honestly don't know. Maybe go sight seeing? I always wanted to see London.
Pastime: Three hobbies I have that I would be embarrassed to know someone discovered.
1. Knitting: Irene picked it up when she was little. Her mother had taught her before she died. Whenever she didn’t have any clients, she would do the occasional kits. She even made a few hats for children, Iris and Robert.
2. Singing: The Woman is rather cautious about who knows about her singing voice. Sure, she sings to her daughter, Iris, when she brushes her hair at night before bed and whatnot, but it’s still a minor fear she has.
3. (formerly) Piano Playing: She was quite good at the piano when she was little. When her mother died, she grew terribly afraid of them. To the point that even hearing the name makes her panic a little. She genuinely hopes that, one day, she can be able to get over her fear and play again.
