Hey, I'm a gender neutral androgynous pansexual but I came out as bi to my family bc they wouldn't understand pansexuality and I was just wondering if that was ok? Also, I call myself gay a lot like upon seeing my female crush I'll be like "omg I'm so gay" is that ok?

Of course that is okay! Not everyone is going to understand the more complicated parts, start slow and I am out as Bi to most people instead of pan because lots of people still have issues with the existence of Bisexuality. It is perfectly okay to say “I’m so gay” it’s more of pointing out that you really like the same gender even if you don’t exclusively like the same.

I also think it is completely fine. I understand that labels to many people are hard to comprehend and that it is common for others to just roll with it when you refer to yourself as gay. Also, pansexuality is a lot more confusing to people than many think it is, but so is bisexuality. It is okay to come out to your family as bisexual if that helps them understand some bits and pieces of you. I know  Just remember that your safety is the top priority!

(Part 1) So hey, I'm 18 and a lesbian, and I need advice on two things. So the first thing is coming out, when I initially knew I was a lesbian I tried to come out to my parents and I had a girlfriend back then and I guess the day I was going to tell them I had used my dads IPad and left my Facebook open an he read all my messages, so that night he came to my room and started hitting me and grabbed my laptop and we fought I tried to run and was grabbed and thrown against the floor and my mom

(Part 2) just stood there watching, the days after were rough and I was insulted each day so I lied to them and said I was just messing with them. After that I decided to never come out, until recently when I came out to my little sister and she came out to me as bisexual. And recently she came out to my dad, and he told me and said she was just going through a phase and now I am not sure if I should come out or not honestly I am still scared. Any advice? Also my other question is: I have only 

(Part 3) been in a real relationship with one girl after figuring out my sexuality and tried dating a few other but those never real worked out ‘cause I am in the closet, and I have only had sexual relations with the same girl and never any others, and now I am worried, that I might not be good or I might not know what to do if the opportunity were to present itself. What should I do?

Okay well first thing. Don’t try coming out to them again. I know this sounds mean and I know you may want them to accept you but they are abusive and this is really bad. I really hope you are still checking our blog. If you must come out to them do it once you are moved out and they have to legal or physical hold over you. Second: Be honest with your partner. If you think things may be moving in a more serious direction, let them know. A relationship is based on comunication and there will always be new things to do.

Hellooo!! I'm pansexual and agender and pronouns confuse me lol. I would like to be they/them but I don't really care wether someone calls me she/her or not. Plus most people aren't educated on being agender and genderfluid etc. So would it matter much if I was to be them/she even though I'm agender??

You do you for one, but in all reality you can definitely use those pronouns! Being comfortable with a different set of pronouns doesn’t mean you aren’t agender.-Admin Ashen

I really like this girl and she is just all together prefect and I really care about her when I flirt with her she flirts back and I want to tell her how much she means to me but I don't think I'm good enough for her and I'm scared that I won't be enough and she deserves only the very best. I don't want to lose her and I know that is a risk if I tell her I like her suggestions?

First bit of advice- she may feel the same way about you. Second, you will never know unless you talk to her. A good portion of the time, there won’t be any problem even if there isn’t an acceptance to dating. Go for it

Hey! I thought I was pansexual, but come to find out for me male genitals are gross. So how do I come out to my mum, dad, and really religous grandmother who thinks you have had to me sexually assaulted inorder to be gay? Which I was sexually abused.

I’d have to say polysexual would fit you then! This really depends on if you want to tell them you have been sexually abused. There’s a lot of ways to tell people these things but the number one thing you need to do is make sure you won’t be put in a dangerous situation. Make sure you won’t be kicked out or hit for these things. You’re personal safety is always a number one.

Well, for one, you don’t have to be sexually assaulted in order to be gay but sometimes its very hard to convince a person otherwise. Share about the sexual abuse though if you haven’t already, stuff like that is very very important to share out so people can hear you out when you need to be heard out. 

I do agree with Ashen: Pansexual does seem to fit you, but you can still be pansexual or panromantic at least! You don’t have to find genitals pleasing to identify as pan- okay? Especially panromantic!

I’m going to make a quick announcement here that I know will still piss some people off. I have repeatedly said this but given Danny’s request, I figured I should make an announcement. I will still be defining Bisexuality as 2 genders. It makes it easier to explain for one and makes it less confusing for people who are just starting to try and figure out their sexuality. Saying that bi can also be 2 or more, makes Poly and Pan completely pointless and erases them. Sure people may disagree but I’m stubborn and I like to go by the actual definition so that I know for certain what I’m talking about.

I identify as asexual and heteroromantic but lately I've been questioning if maybe I'm biromantic or something else. I'd like to hold hands and cuddle with a girl but I don't imagine being in a relationship or kissing. I only feel this way with one girl in particular and I've never felt it before now. Is there a term for this?

Your original label would work best. There’s an exception to every rule and this female may just be a single exception.
