Hello! No, knowledge of the Crave series is not necessary to keep up with anything in this rp! We are making everything as approachable as possible so that you need to know nothing about the series and we are in fact building upon what's been established in the book.
We are working on creating pages for the lore blog that go into more details about things that have been mentioned in the species lore, like mates and the various courts, so be on the lookout for those. In the meantime don't hesitate to send us any questions you might have!
