Another weird dream
I remember a lot more of this dream that I did the last one, so:
I'm chilling out in my house, home alone, and it's nighttime. Suddenly there are loud crashes and sirens from outside, so I go to the window to investigate. My street is absolutely crawling with MTs, all of them with guns at the ready. An officer (may have been Caligo) is standing in the center, rattling off orders, that the subject "Courtney" is to be apprehended, no lethal tactics can be used.
Of course I start panicking because the MTs are going door to door round my street, breaking down doors and investigating before determining that the house was not mine. My neighbors stare at my house worriedly from their windows but do nothing.
Eventually they come to my house, but by this time i'm already hiding. I'm in a closet and surrounded by boxes and really hoping they won't do a thorough search.... but the crashes of furniture breaking immediately crushed those hopes. I can hear the MT come dangerously close to my hiding spot. It stops, then abruptly I'm exposed and staring into the red eyes of the MT. I scream as it yanks me off of the floor and begins to carry me towards the front door, undeterred by my struggling.
Then I'm dropped to the floor as it deactivates. I scramble away from it, but don't get very far before I'm yanked up by a pair of arms and turned around to face the owner of said arms -- and it's Ignis.
He's wearing an Imperial uniform, though, so I'm trying to get away from him. He holds me still and tells me quickly, softly, "I'm undercover, my brother and I are here to rescue you. You've got a big role to play. Go outside, my brother is waiting. We don't have much time."
And then he douses me with this stuff, telling me that it'll throw off any DNA scanners that the Empire is using. So I go outside and I'm immediately met with Aurelio (Ignis' twin brother, by @roses-and-oceans ), who is also dressed in an Imperial uniform. He grabs me and apologizes, but he has to make it look like he's arresting me for insubordination. I'm confused as all hell, but I go with it.
Aurelio finesses his way past anyone who asks him a question and eventually puts me in the passenger seat of my own car (nevermind how he got it out of the garage without my knowing) and slides into the backseat. When I ask him why we're sitting the way we are, he just shrugs and says, "Driving is more of an Ignis thing. I'm Aurelio, by the way. Nice to finally meet you."
And I'm thinking, finally? But before I can ask Ignis slides into the driver's seat and starts the car (both without the key and without hotwiring it, much to my confusion) and drives off, smoothly navigating all the Imperial blocks they have set up on my street and in my neighborhood. He says, "You're going to help us overthrow the Empire. You have the one thing that can stop them. That's why they're after you."
And before I could ask him what he meant, I woke up.
