Hi! The membership actually is helpful mostly if you’re actually living/travelling to Korea since you’re given priority (early ticketing) when it comes to music show recordings, concerts, fanmeetings and buying merchandise (domestically). You’ll also be automatically be a member on the fc (you don’t need to level up to be a regular member), sometimes you can even access exclusive pictures/videos posted on the haneul board. The first membership kit also includes some pretty good official merch and stuff like a photobook, photocards, mood light, etc!
Although, I think you can’t buy the first generation membership kit anymore to this date so maybe we can only just wait for the next generation kit?
