My Valentine’s Day commission of my OC Namine and Kota, from the lovely and talented @hiodollz!! I forgot to post this months ago. Oh well, better late than never. XD

This is more for the Muns actually, what if the Sanrio Danshi of your liking, came to you acting a bit more flustered than usual, then asks you to close your eyes for a little bit, they then proceed to give you a kiss before telling you to open your eyes and when you look at your ring finger they have put ona Sanrio character they like as a ring on your finger :D Blessings for you three ^^

Oh my…..Yu-san putting a kawaii ring on my finger? -blushes- I mean….that is a very specific finger ya know? After squeeing for a solid 5 minutes, bouncing up and down and making sure he isn’t deaf from my squee. I would give him the biggest hug and kiss ever!! Pretty sure I would cry happily cause that would be just too sweet. He is an amazing guy truly! Sweet and kind, bit hot headed sometimes. But I would be beyond ecstatic!

Oh! I’d be a bit shocked, probably turn beet red, and maybe cry lol…happy tears of course! I’d hug him reeeeally tight and plant a big kiss on him. I don’t know exactly how Subaru-kun would react since he hasn’t appeared yet, but based on the images that are available and the small description of his character, he seems like he may not really show emotion much? So this would definitely be a special moment!

Wow! I would be very surprised! Already shocked by his kiss, the ring would have me a blushing and stuttering mess. Once I’m able to get myself under control (somewhat, lol) I would jump into his arms, holding him tight and give him the biggest kiss EVER! I am sure we would both be blushing and smiling, a perfectly matched pair. Kota-kun is so sweet and loving and loyal. I would be incredibly honored and excited!

I got a question for the mods. Why do you like the boy that you do? Was there something in particular about the character that drew you in or is it because you like their assigned Sanrio character?

Well like most fandoms, most tend to have a “type” they are drawn to. For me, I tend to fall for funny, pranksters. The goofball of the group. When I first saw the preview for the anime, I was intrigued. Having been a long time lover of Sanrio in general. So I thought, “Ok why not?” And of course when I saw Yu, I was like….”Yea, that’s the one I’m prolly gonna like.”

After watching the first few episodes, I was right. And I also see a lot of my own personality in Yu as well. I like to make my friends smile and laugh. I’m always the one cracking jokes and making funny remarks. I love to cook, take care of those dear to me, and be helpful when I can be. Being someone who is a lover of fictional characters. I was so happy to hear Yu say what he said to Kota in episode 2. About not being ashamed of loving what you love. Cause I have been preaching the same thing to others for years! 

And Yu is so sweet and cute. I just love everything about him, even his lil anger fits!

I also can get quite angry too, just like Yu does. Especially when if anyone hurts my friends/loved ones or my views are challenged. ^_^; I can fly off the handle quick just like he does, not really thinking thoroughly. But my intentions are 90% good when I get like that. I don’t go out of my way to hurt others know what I mean? If I’m mad, there is a good reason.

I do love My Melody, she is so precious. But I also love Choco Cat. ^_^ But no, My Melody didn’t have an influence on me picking Yu-kun. It was just Yu and everything about him.

Well, I had actually been waiting almost a year for this anime to air! When I first saw the preview for the anime I wasn’t really attracted to any of the characters, but the idea of guys liking Sanrio characters really interested me. It actually took me 2 or 3 episodes before I was pulled to any one boy. What drew me to Kota was his personality. He is so much like me! 

Like Kota, I am really shy, keep to myself, have a hard time making friends…. and even have a difficult time being honest about my hobbies and what I like. I have the horrible habit of comparing myself to others, and taking on way too much in order to prove something. So having those things in common with him, really drew me in. But (even though this isn’t really like me) I also really love his sweet and caring nature. How once he had his new friends he was willing to stand up for them (like with Yu and Yuri….or with Ryo, when Seiichiro got sick.) How he is always willing to help. Those traits really stood out out to me. I kind wish I could even be more like that!

As for Kota’s chosen character having an influence (Pompompurin) I’d have to say that didn’t sway me either way. I have loved Sanrio since I was really little, but I have always been drawn to the more underrated/less popular characters. So while Pompompurin is really cute, that’s not why I chose Kota. 

My favorite Sanrio character is a Raccoon named Landry. 

I’ve been a fan of Sanrio for sooooo long and when Admin My Melody introduced me to the series, she showed me Subaru and said she was pretty sure that’s who I was gonna like.  I didn’t really know at the time that there was so little out there about him, but as soon as I saw him I was smitten with his character.  

I really LOVE his darker “delinquent” style because that’s basically how I am in real life and the more I learned about him, the more I knew this guy was definitely going to be my choice.  I was really bummed when I did learn he wasn’t yet in the anime and wasn’t in the game either, but I couldn’t help that he had already had weaselled his way into my heart. I only hope that there will be a season 2 of the anime so we can see more of Subaru!

Bonus points that Badtz Maru has been my top favourite Sanrio character since I was young (Kuromi is my second favourite).
