STATIC plays through the speakers this time around; shuffling and WHIMPERING heard amongst the white noise before her voice (shaky, yet holding authority nonetheless) rings through.
“E...Everyone to the PERFORMANCE HALL immi-...immediately! Th-there's been a TRAGEDY, and w--we need all of you here ASAP!”
Click.
CURRENT TIME: 8:30AM
Amongst the once-cluttered stage (where, oh where did the poor items go?), two figures were clear. That of a LITTLE GIRL, their gamemaster (THEIR WARDEN ), standing just off to the side of a body recklessly(?) sprawled across the stagefront. She’s sniffling, but that’s no surprise--who would have ever expected a CORPSE to appear in the once peaceful museum they all had called home.
The smell of BURNING overtakes the room. Though the victim themselves looks almost SPOTLESS, aside from the BLOOD that seems carelessly SMEARED upon their clothing... Despite the burning smell, there’s barely a trace of fire among the scene. In fact, there’s NOT MUCH OF A SCENE at all... past the corpse itself and a few locks of CYAN THREAD. (Or is it HAIR? Mary isn’t sure, at least, not yet. She’s in SHOCK, the poor girl.)
As the others play detective, Mary looks down to her feet, hands gripping her dress as she forces the next few words as BEST as she’s able. (Her past wasn't easy, but she's not used to corpses. Not like this--ANYTHING but this!)
“U-Um...lets play a NEW game instead, okay? Mary calls this one ‘DETECTIVE’. It's really easy, I promise. You just…um--you just look at the PORTFOLIO Mary added to your electric thingy, a-and you hunt out the killer! Well...first you have to investigate and...you know? I'll just tell you the rest later.”

ABOUT THE CORPSE
Signs of burns are all over the victim’s body. Arms, legs, back, front. It seems to be all around in various splotches.
However, when examined closely, you can see some of the victim’s FLESH is missing. Where could it have gone to?
Clothing on the victim is SINGED to various degrees.
CYAN colored strings can be found all around the body. Hair or string?
Blood can be found on the victim
OTHER
There doesn’t seem to be much of a crime scene, the stage is surprisingly clean for it being where the body was found
HOW TO DO THE INVESTIGATION
Do NOT input your own evidence within the case. You MUST report to one of the admins for any physical evidence.
One of our members have made a Google Doc of all current evidence! You can find that HERE.
Ex. You ask if your character stumbles into a certain area. Do they find anything? One of the admins will tell you what you will or won’t find.
After you find something, you are free to POST what your character finds.
What about alibis? Characters can LIE about what they have done or where they were. None of us will say it is wrong or right. It’s up to you to figure out if it’s the truth or a lie.
The only alibis that can be completely trusted are those confirmed by MARY HERSELF.
You WON’T be able to solve the case entirely from just this investigation. There is very VITAL information WHICH WILL ONLY SHOW UP DURING THE TRIAL STAGE. The investigation is a time for gathering evidence, not for solving the whole case. YOU WON’T BE ABLE TO, YOU NEED MARY’S INPUT, So deep breaths. Don’t worry!
You may also ask if your character is around a specific time at a specific area. This may be helpful because it can help find suspicious people around that timeframe.
You are free to form investigation groups to search around or ask around. Alibis can be handy after all.
You are free to discuss about the case and craft theories. This timeframe for investigation is designed for such discussion and theorizing.
THERE IS NO SET DAYS ON INVESTIGATION. The period will extend as long as is needed in order to gather all the needed evidence.
Any other inquiries can be sent to the blog!
