You mindlessly take a bite of your sandwich as Dahyun rambles on, her words jumbling together and becoming white noise to you. You rest your chin on your palm, staring at Dahyun but not comprehending anything that comes out of her mouth.
“Hey! Hey, Y/N!”
You snap back to reality when Dahyun waves her hand in front of your face. “S-sorry,” you stammer in apology. “What were you saying?”
“My boyfriend!” she lashes out. You flinch, spilling a bit of your water on the table. You grab a napkin and wipe up the mess, but Dahyun doesn’t even seem to notice.
“Park Jinyoung,” she murmurs dreamily, lost in her own strange world. “The perfect man...”
You furrow your brow. “You should introduce me to him,” you tell her.
“Why?!” she exclaims, her mood taking a sharp turn. “Do you want to steal him from me?”
You raise your hands in front of you and shake your head fervently. “No no no,” you reply. “Just... He seems too good to be true, you know what I mean? You just seem so enamored with him, and I want to make sure that he isn’t trying to use your kindness for himself.”
Dahyun gives you a suspicious glare, her arms crossed. “Fine,” she mutters reluctantly.
You try to block out the incessant sound of Dahyun drumming her nails on the cafe table. She has makeup piled on her face, and you can clearly tell she just got her hair done today. Every five seconds, she turns around to look through the windows of the cafe.
The bell of the cafe rings, and Dahyun instantly whips around to look at the entrance. “Jinyoung!” she sighs in relief.
You watch as she jumps into her boyfriend’s arms. He grins, the corners of his eyes crinkling. “Is this your friend who wanted to meet me?” he asks softly, gesturing at you.
“Oh... I guess,” Dahyun groans in reply.
You wave hello at Jinyoung. He approaches you and offers his hand. “Nice to meet you, Y/N.”
You shake it, and you immediately notice the strange coldness of his skin-- almost like he’s a corpse. You smile nervously at him, your shoulders tensing up. “I’ll buy you two coffee. What would you guys like?”
“Oh, I don’t need-”
“No, it’s fine,” Jinyoung replies.
“An iced mocha, I presume?” Jinyoung asks Dahyun. She nods enthusiastically in response.
“I’ll have a caffè latte,” you tell him. “Thanks.”
“Dahyun, you can pay, right? I forgot my wallet.”
“Oh, anything for you,” Dahyun replies. It makes you nauseous-- it sounds like a line taken out of a cliche romance movie.
“Then if it’s not you who’s paying, I’m not going to take a coffee,” you assert, your arms crossed.
“No no, It’d be rude of me not to buy you one.”
You stand up. “It’s-”
“Hush, I’m going to buy you a coffee and you can’t stop me.”
You watch as Jinyoung talks to the barista. Dahyun gives her the stink eye. “What do you think she’s doing?” she hisses to you. “Flirting with him?”
“Definitely not,” you reply. “What’s so great about him, anyway? He literally made up an excuse so that he doesn’t have to spend his money on you-- and he’s even spending it on me for no reason. He’s just toying with you.”
Dahyun turns to face you. "Well, you just don’t know how love works! There are so many great things about him! You know...”
She trails off mid-sentence, trying to think of something to say. You roll your eyes and stand up. “Hey, Jinyoung.”
He turns to face you, his eyes wide with feigned puppy-like innocence. “Yes?”
“Can I talk to you outside?”
“Don’t even think about trying to-”
You hush Dahyun. “I love you,” you tell her, “but you’re being a little difficult right now. I’m trying to be helpful.”
“’Helpful,’ is an overstatement, you’re going to steal-”
“Honey, it’s alright,” Jinyoung coos, which calms Dahyun down in a second. “I won’t do anything with her.”
You walk outside, the bell ringing above you. Jinyoung lays his hand on your shoulder. You twist around and slap him away. “What the hell do you think you’re doing?” you growl. “Dahyun is a good person and a great friend, so I don’t appreciate you taking advantage of her.”
“I’m not taking advantage of her,” Jinyoung drawls. “She loves me, and I love her. She reciprocates my affection.”
You raise a brow in confusion. Jinyoung caresses your cheek and stares into your eyes. “She’s doing fine. Stop worrying.” He slides a hand around your waist, pulling you closer to him.
Without thinking, you subconsciously raise your hand and brush a lock of Jinyoung’s black hair out of his face. You get lost in his eyes before a rough hand grabs your arm and rips you out of his embrace.
You groan, snapping out of your delusions. You bury your face in your hands, your head throbbing. “Jinyoung, go to hell,” you manage to spit at him.
“Jinyoung, go get your girl and leave here,” the person who rescued you says.
“Whatever you say, boss,” Jinyoung replies sarcastically.
“Are you alright?” the man who grabbed you asks.
You turn around to face him. “Yeah, um...”
“Sorry,” he apologizes. “I didn’t introduce myself. I’m Mark. I- I wouldn’t worry about your friend. Everything’s fine. Everything will be fine.”

You reach out to grab his shirt, but when you blink, he is out of sight. You bump into a man dressed in a business suit, who curses at you. “Young delinquent,” he murmurs as he walks away.
You run in the direction Mark was headed, trying to spot a black bomber jacket in a sea of people dressed in muted suits. After turning multiple corners, you find yourself in a place even you don’t recognize.
You clutch the strap of your purse, turning from side to side to stare at the street signs. The names are unfamiliar, even foreign.
“Are you lost?”
You jump when you hear a voice from behind you. You turn around, and your shoulders sag in relief when you see that it isn’t a criminal trying to mug you. “Yeah, I was just trying to find an... acquaintance. Do you happen to know where the Starbucks is?”
“Yeah, just take a right over there...”
“I’m sorry, what did you say?” you laugh awkwardly, clearing your throat.
“Oh it’s no problem, just...”
His sentence trails off again. You stick your fingers in your ear, trying to clear some sort of obstruction. “I’m sorry, I just can’t hear what-”
The man slaps you. Dazed, you try to regain your balance, but he grabs your face. “Look into my eyes,” he commands.
“No, what are-”
You wince as he tightens his grip . You grab his wrists, trying to tear them away from you. It’s no use.
Before you know it, you start growing light-headed. It feels like your consciousness is slowly being sucked out, floating away, almost. Your chest tightens, and your eyelids grow heavy. You struggle to keep them open, but his hand snakes over your eyes. You take a sharp inhale as he digs his nails of his other hand into your chest.
The crushing feeling is suddenly lifted. You open your eyes, and the man lays in front of you, a hole blown through his stomach. You gag. Your knees buckle, and you fall onto the ground, your hand over your mouth.
“Leave,” you hear a voice boom from behind you.
The man shrivels, his face morphing into a mix of terror and respect. He scrabbles away, a hand cradling his massive wound.
You turn to face your savior. “I’m sorry, Y/N. I should’ve explained to you earlier.”
Mark stands before you, wiping blood off of his hand with a handkerchief. Your face turns white as you hurriedly move away from him, your gaze focused on his clawed hands.

After Sesshomaru drops Rin off at the human village he visits quite frequently. He brings Rin gifts because of his lingering affection. He doesn't fully understand why he's doing it but every time he seems a pretty dress or some trinket that he knows would bring a smile to Rin's face he cant help himself
He also uses the gifts as an excuse to meet her again and spend more time with her watching her grow into her own person
Every time he sees her his heart aches a little because he sees less of the young girl he cared for and more of a independent capable woman. But even as time passes her smile and the innocence in her eyes which affected him so much when he first met her never fades and he finds himself falling for her once again but in a completely different way
He inquires in his arrogant confusing way whether she's been seeing anyone in the village, asking mostly Kaede much to her endless amusement. There are a couple of village boys interested but Sesshomaru scares them away soon enough if Rin's complete lack of interest isn't enough to deter them. His main method of scaring little boys is growling at them from under the bushes but he once told Jaken to dress up as Rin and scare them off
Rin loves the gifts that he brings but much much more than that she loves seeing Sesshomaru again. He had been such a big part of her life before and suddenly going without him for so many days makes her really lonely sometimes
She puts her heart and soul into learning from Kaede and taking up new skills in order to join Sesshomaru and the gang again on their travels since she s always felt more at home with them than in the human village
At night when Sesshomaru's missing Rin a lot he asks Jaken to put on Rin's old kimonos and cuddle with him since they're basically the same height and if Sesshomaru closes his eyes he can just pretend
As Sesshomaru visits Rin over the years, she notices that her feeling for him are changing. She gets confused and asks Jaken if its normal and if he wants to hold hands and kiss Sesshomaru too. Jaken looks at her in horror before whacking her with his stick. Regardless, she gradually comes to terms with her changing feelings and manages to accept them and approach him romantically when she's ready

So I'm 5'0 small, skinny, female and a ESTJ-A. I have long very dark brown hair (almost looks black) and brown-green eyes (I wear glasses, because I'm practically blind). I don't really have a style, sometimes it's very tomboy and other times it's the opposite, but I do like fitted clothing that show of what I have. I don't really like wearing only black black or goth on myself.
I'm a pisces, but it doesn't really fit me. The only thing that does fit, is me lacking to decide on things.
