UPDATE: Secret Santa and BiWeekly Meetup Info

Hi everyone!

Here to report on the meet up this weekend. The poll results are in and Saturday is the obvious winner, so that's when it will be. Sorry for those who wanted Sunday!

We'll be picking our Secret Santas on Saturday. Don't worry, if you aren't there, you'll still be able to get one! That means I'll take names until Friday night, at midnight. However, if you manage to catch me awake at Midnight, you can probably convince me to add you to the list.

This meet up is going to be sort of a potluck-- so bring whatever you feel is appropriate (I know there is someone who says they'll be bringing some AJ, just fyi). If you can't be bothered to buy or cook food, you can bring in some money to possibly order a Pizza.

Again, this is a Karaoke meet up! But please bring whatever games you want, be it board games or even a playstation game. The consoles that will be available are PS3, PS2/PS1, Xbox 260, and Wii. I have multiple controllers for each, but bring your own if you feel inclined (I have 2 PS3 and Xbox controllers, and maybe 3 Wii controllers).

The location will be in MAC 5 208, and I'll post a complete street Address when I get home tonight. Basically, it will be at my dorm room, and depending on if we have a lot, it might be a bit of a tight squeeze. Just keep that in mind.

Saturday, or Sunday?

Ok, so I know there's been some issue about having our meetups on Sundays, so for this meet up I'll put out a poll to see if which day everyone wants. [Poll here] Let us know!

Hey I was just wondering if there's a reason the meetups are always on Sundays? I mean, it's not a big deal, it's just sometimes they conflict with church for me so it gets hard to go to them even though I really want to :33 just wondering :33

There was a member who had her days off on Sunday, and the meetings were changed from their standard Saturday (from last year) to Sunday, to accommodate her. This seems to actually be an issue, but if someone wants to have the dates change, they have to actually ask. 

And don’t be afraid to ask to make an alteration to an event, we don’t bite.

UPDATE: Karaoke themed BiWeekly Meet up

Alright, so! Update on the Karaoke party in Anchorage (sorry Wasilla!), We've planned to change the biweekly meet up on the 24th to a Karaoke Meet up. It's going to be at the UAA dorms ( a MAC appartment). I'll post more on the time and location the closer it gets to the date.

While It's still a bit away, but it's been brought to my attention that perhaps the one who is planning on bringing the games to our Karaoke Meet up on the 24th might not be able to make it. I have a wii (but none of those kinds of games), and probably by the time this meet up comes around I'll be laughably unable to pay for much, so if you have a Wii Karaoke-type game or a multiplayer game that would be fun to play, let me know! Or just bring it.

By the way, if some of you folks have singing or multiplayer games on other consoles, I own a WiiU, a Xbox360 and a Playstation 3 (though not a Kinect or a Move), so there's that option. I believe I have 3 wii controllers, and two xbox and playstation controllers.

If you have board games, you can bring those too. just in case.

Also, it'll sort of be like a potluck, so you can bring a bag of chips or a big liter of soda or even just 5 bucks to split a pizza. That's optional, but a thing that will hopefully happen. so keep that in mind as well.

Bi Weekly meet up and a Karaoke meet up in Anchorage

Hey! Again, sorry for such inactivity! However, Just reminding everyone that our Bi-Weekly Meetup will be this Sunday! It will be at the 5th avenue again, because I haven't heard any issues with the security and being kicked out.

If we need to change, let me know! There's still time.

It starts at noon, upstairs at the food court!

Also, there's talk of a karaoke meet up here in anchorage, with Rockband and Garageband for the Wii, so it won't be professional or cost money. There isn't much beyond that, so let me know if you're interested!

Wow, there was a lot of people at the meet up Saturday! I was thrilled! you all even showed up before me, which surprised me.

I'm sorry I left earlier, but i would love to hear stories of what happened afterwards, and how long it lasted. We'll be having another one again, so If you have any ideas or places, please let us know!

Bi-Weekly Meet up today!

Hi everyone!

Meet up today!

I thought I might be able to go early to make sure I can catch any early birds, but it seems all be right on time.

I will be monitoring Tumblr, but mostly Facebook, so if you have any questions, you can use either of those. You can also text me questions.

Remember, Diamond Center, noon until you need/want to leave, starting in the food court by the ice ring.
