BiWeekly Meet up (At a Rec Center)!

sorry for the inactivity! I bet post this before I lose the energy;

We're finally not having this at a mall! Unless someone opposes, this will be located at the Spenard Community Rec Center (2020 W 48th Avenue, Anchorage) on Sunday, Feb 23rd from Noon to 3 We will have to pay to get in, but don't worry! The prices are very low; Adults (18 yrs +): $3.00 (day) Adult Punch Card: $40.00 (15 visits) Teens (12-17 yrs): $1.00 (day) Teen Punch Card: $10 (15 visits) None the less, if you need someone to cover you to get in, let me know at least the day before! I'll make sure to post more info when it comes.

Hey, I was the one who planned the renaissance meetup, and I need to know what day people want to go. The dates are the 7,8,14,15 of June. If you could post that on Facebook and give me the feedback, I'd be grateful! I need to know soon so I can work around the events, because I know there is a midday feast on the 7th, and it's $20, so the day is what I need to know for the events to plan and such. Thank you, if you need anymore information please just contact me!

How often will the meet ups be since school has started?

Our next meet up is scheduled for Next Sunday. We'll do our best to make it every two weeks. Sorry for the huge hiatus, I wasn't in town to organize them!

Update: Tomorrow's Meet up!

Sorry this is so late! Tomorrow we have a meet up, but only barely (due to the roads). 

There's been a change. We'll be meeting at the Diamond Mall's Food court, rather than 5th Avenue mall (I've been informed that they were removed regardless that they had actually been shopping). 

I'll be there, but not for long. Be safe! Remember, there will be other meet ups.

UPDATE: Secret Santa and BiWeekly Meetup Info

Hi everyone!

Here to report on the meet up this weekend. The poll results are in and Saturday is the obvious winner, so that's when it will be. Sorry for those who wanted Sunday!

We'll be picking our Secret Santas on Saturday. Don't worry, if you aren't there, you'll still be able to get one! That means I'll take names until Friday night, at midnight. However, if you manage to catch me awake at Midnight, you can probably convince me to add you to the list.

This meet up is going to be sort of a potluck-- so bring whatever you feel is appropriate (I know there is someone who says they'll be bringing some AJ, just fyi). If you can't be bothered to buy or cook food, you can bring in some money to possibly order a Pizza.

Again, this is a Karaoke meet up! But please bring whatever games you want, be it board games or even a playstation game. The consoles that will be available are PS3, PS2/PS1, Xbox 260, and Wii. I have multiple controllers for each, but bring your own if you feel inclined (I have 2 PS3 and Xbox controllers, and maybe 3 Wii controllers).

The location will be in MAC 5 208, and I'll post a complete street Address when I get home tonight. Basically, it will be at my dorm room, and depending on if we have a lot, it might be a bit of a tight squeeze. Just keep that in mind.

Alaska Gaming convention

Hi Everyone! 

There was a lot of people at the meet up last Sunday, and that was great! Our next biweekly meet up will be Sunday the 24th. It's at a different location, and it's Karaoke Themed! I'll post more on that Monday (though if you need that info ahead of time, please message me!). We'll be picking out Secret Santas then, so get your names in!

If you can't make it, don't worry, we'll draw your name for you.

Next, there is a meet up this week! There's an Alaska Gaming Convention that's going to be this Saturday at UAA's Student Union. It goes from Noon to 1 AM.
