Anyway UR SO SO SO RIGHT and it wounds me. He’s a guy whose entire childhood was ripped away from him and struggling to navigate a world he’s inadequately prepared for. He doesn’t feel like he belongs because he doesn’t know how to relax and be part of a family and understand a world where he doesn’t have to fight and be on edge all the time. He thinks he’s a bad person because he can’t feel comfortable in this new space so of course he must be built for darkness, if he feels like an imposter in this world of light he must be meant for darkness. He latches onto these things he can understand like Proteam Omega because they’re simple and good and makes him feel anchored to this new world and understand it a little better. But then it’s distilled down to Weeb and that’s the end of it and it makes me :(
