"There’s no turning back now, is there?" /siduri for obe
"Is it your first time seeing an human die, Master?"
With a touch of his finger the spear dissolves into dark mud, covering the body of the enemy Master and the last expression on their face before their death. A small kindness perhaps, but whether towards the dead or his Master is unclear.
"Yet, if your resolve was as weak as to need something like this to strengthen it... No no, I'd rather not go there. We have been doing well so far, after all."
There's that edge that can sharpen his character as suddenly as it leaves, the constant reminder that he expects as much from her as she does from him, yet were she to be found lacking he would not be as merciful as she would be. It was a good thing then, that she had a leash around his neck.
"Even if they have lost their servant, a Master is still a threat. A servant able of independent action would be able to survive long enough as to contact and form a new contract with them. Thus, they must be all safely disposed of."
He offers her a kind smile, almost sympathetic, and it truly is easy to forget what he is then, what lurks underneath the calm and beautiful surface of the lake. He turns his gaze back towards the mud-covered body then, and raises his hand. Vines, grass, and branches slowly grow out of the ground to gently embrace the remains.
"There are many things that may be obtained from a body still warm, yet I suppose you would rather have them rest, yes?" A quiet sigh, even when the smile doesn't stutter, "Just say the word and I shall have them return to the mud that birthed their kind. A small kindness from the Fae King to one of the children of man, for putting on an honorable endeavor."
