Hi all, as you should all hopefully know by now we have made the decision to close the roleplay. I’ve pinned my message to you all in the OOC Discord and will not repost it here, that message is for our members and I thank you all for your understanding at this time.

We will no longer be updating the main and releasing new NPCs, Tasks, Events or Prompts. Neither will we be enforcing activity checks. As of this week the roleplay will move into a ‘Soft Closed’ status, by which I mean that whilst the roleplay itself is closed and will not be accepting new members we will continue to play out the story on the dash. You are not obligated to continue should you not wish to but of course I know many are excited and eager. 

I do ask that no one, members or not, use or reference the original work created here for the roleplay for themselves. That if you decide to take your characters elsewhere you remove any reference to this roleplay beforehand. We may be at a point in the future where we can reopen the doors and of course you’d all be invited back at that point too. Should you continue writing please try to at least follow some of the rules we previously established regarding etiquette and godmodding etc. just to keep things peaceful & fun.

We collected a lot of ask memes for the gossip blog that may be posted from time to time and whilst part of the continuing action of the dash you’re more than welcome to request an interaction with an NPC as before. We will not be releasing any new content but please feel free to go back and complete older tasks & prompts.

I love you all and want to thank each and every one of you for your time, dedication and creativity. It’s been an amazing 7 months <3

Hey guys! I hope everyone is having a wonderful Friday so far. 

We want to make sure nothing is getting confused or overlooked and to address that moving forward, the proper avenues for admin contact will be through this Main Blog. This includes any major character plot drops or changes, and hiatus requests will only be reviewed if sent to this blog. 

 All of the admin team needs to be aware of the comings and goings of members, so we ask that you refrain from asking official roleplay questions in the admin team’s private messages and instead send them to the main where we can review any sort of request at the same time. 

That being said, until any queries are addressed by the admin team as a whole, there cannot be an official answer to any requests as it’s not fair for one admin to make a decision that needs to be made as a team. 

I’d like to remind everyone too that the admin-questions discord is still available if any members have questions with plotting, world-building, and technical difficulties. However, anything outside of these moving forward should be sent through the official channel, otherwise any requests will not be considered.

Further on the Discord piece, members will not be receiving private messages from the admin team anymore in regards to admin business. If there’s any official roleplay messages we feel need to be conveyed OOC, it will be directed to your character blog’s inbox. This is to cut out any confusion as to what we expect from ourselves and our members to keep the experience as cohesive and consistent as possible. 

As always we expect to have this post liked once members have seen and understood what’s going to be expected. If there are any questions please reach out to the admin team!

Hello loves, I just wanted to drop a quick note to let you all know that we’ve finished adding in an entire new district to Newhaven. Newhaven Harbor and it’s notable locations can be found on the updated Location page on the main. As always we’d love to hear any ideas or suggestions you have for new locations to existing districts but we do hope you enjoy the new addition we’ve brought in. This new district will be the feature of the new few events but that doesn’t mean you can’t start new threads there either. We will also be introducing new NPC’s and special tasks / prompts tied into this in the near future as we continue to work on expanding the world the roleplay is set in <3

Hello loves! Just a quick reminder to you all that our inbox will be closing early this week, so if you’d like to be included in acceptances on Thursday please ensure you’ve submitted your app by 10pm GMT tomorrow (Wednesday 8th August). There will be no acceptance this Saturday but after this week things will resume as usual.

We’re so grateful, as you’ve already heard a dozen times by now, to have hit our 5 month anniversary. This is such a special roleplay and that’s because we have dedicated & talented members who help make this such an interesting and ever growing world to explore. 

This month the admin team want to focus on expanding the world building and creating a solid base for future fun. I know Zuna has been working on putting together something that helps us all keep tabs on the last event, though with 7 hours worth of Discord fun this is taking a little bit of time. Ashley & I have been working on creating new locations, an entire new district, and a new NPC or two that we hope to release during August. I’ve also been jotting down ideas for future prompts, tasks and discussing events that will be just as much fun as the last one - but as always if you guys have any ideas you want to share please do so! 

As always I want to encourage you all to revisit any older prompts & tasks you hadn’t previously had the chance to pick up as they will always be open. I know the Connections Prompt is one that will be continuously ongoing so please, as you’ve already been doing, continue to post in the Discord chat whenever you’ve updated or added to the page. I know a lot of us are currently wrapping up older “pre-event” threads but you are also allowed, and very much encouraged, to post a new open starter to get the ball rolling following the fallout of the hotel. 

As a bit of housekeeping if you could all go through the starter tag and close any of your older ‘open’ starters that would be a good way to keep track of what is available and what isn’t. I will make a post at a later date highlighting open starters with less notes that need more love, so closing any you no longer want replies to will help with that :) 

It’s only very recently come up but this is also my formal chance to assure you all that you can absolutely use “Ricky” as a gossip channel as well as the source of ask memes. Feel free to send him any opinions, questions or rumours so long as they are in accordance with the rules. Have fun, be kind and hopefully adding another layer to the roleplay will just add to the enjoyment!

This includes updating to say certain plot drops have been taken, if you’d like us to post any new plot drop requests or update/change OOC information such as ages. Hey guys. I just want to make sure everyone is clear on the New Starter guidelines as they’re laid out in the rules which everyone has been expected to have read upon applying. I’ve taken the liberty of linking the Rules page here. (x)

This isn’t meant to be passive-aggressive, but a very direct post to let you all know that any infringement on this rule in the future will result in a strike.

For any future applicants, please make sure you start off on the right foot and become very familiar with this rule as well as any of the other laid out in the page I’ve linked above.

I don’t like being bad cop. This is a fun roleplay and we encourage light-hearted behavior in and out of character. This rule is in place for the specific reason to promote inclusiveness in that new open starters do not get ignored and other members discouraged or left out.

Also, this rule in particular has been the only one consistently broken, so if there’s any confusion as to what we expect from you, please do not hesitate to ask so we can make sure everyone’s on the same page.

That being said, I’m expecting every member to like this post to indicate that they’re crystal clear on this post. If not I’ll be messaging you to make sure we get there.
