The concept for this piece was on my mind for quite some time, a contemplation on how we face adversity. Hatred creates only more hatred, fear creates only more fear. We can only meet these emotions with graceful peace and responsible calmness. No adversary we face is so powerful as our own selves. We possess the strength to decrease the power of any hardship with acceptance, calm observation, and love. We can stand in the middle of any storm, with melodies in our heart. The most vicious attacks can be neutralised by listening, understanding and wisdom. It’s the 21st century.
